  Plot

  I don't think Serath can cross from their side. Hence the lock. But people from the Easden can cross as can people leaving Easden. Magic in this world is very programmable. As least that's my interpretation. I reserve the right to be way off base on this.

  As for FS, don't mind him Reddog. He's just suffering from update withdrawal like the rest of us...

  SFA Finally dead?

  Guys, I think its time we figure out what's going on here. Its been over a month and no word from the girls. I mean NOTHING. No updates, no pics. I think we need to get the official word and it should be more than one person asking. It would be a shame if all this caves in on itself...

  Magic System

  @RD: The site is MIA. As in "off the grid", "Error 404", "asta la vista, babe". So we have to hope that they get the SFA site back up before we can hope for any updates. Although, I do agree we should get something in the way of an update every couple of months.

  As for the runes, at first glance, they do look like the Chinese symbol (Kanji) for "Fire". But they are, in fact, different. The two runes are not the same. At least that's my observation. As for the circle, I think its more for affect than purpose. That, or you have been watching way too much FullMetal Alchemist.

  Not Another Importance Thread

  @Felix: It will end...with a bang...and a whimper. Everything will be destroyed with Black Mage being the only one left but with no one else around and nothing left to destroy so he will go out of his mind with boredom. IMO.

  New and can't find infor On second book.

  There has been nothing new regarding Book 2 for a long time. I wouldn't say its in limbo. More like its on hold. If you haven't already, I would look through the forum topics dealing with book two (like Book 2 **Spoiler warning**). I personally would like to see Book 2 start rolling again, even if it was only a once a month thing. But then again, that's just how I feel...

  Book 1 Revisited **Spoiler Warning**

  Hi All. I tend to agree with Max. It seems that all the characters are acting "out of character". The scene itself I like. Maybe this could be like a flashback where everyone is talking about that particular day around a campfire sometime during book 2. But as the prologue to book 1, this scene, as written, changes the whole dynamic of the book. If book 1 hadn't been written yet, it probably would be fine. But it has and so I say keep book 1 the way it is. I also say write it the way you want, not what you think an agent is going to accept. Agents can sometimes be a double-edged sword so be careful who you choose.
