- The title (visible at the browser title bar and in the browser tabs) throughout all of "The Second Book" still read "The First Book"...
- The folders and subfolders can be displayed (e.g. you can access: http://schoolforadventurers.com/_The_Chapters/ ) - you should place in any folder a file named index.html or index.php (and maybe redirect to main page or error page or wherever, or simply state, that access is denied) so that noone can access the directories
- You have some double chapters: in http://schoolforadventurers.com/_The_Chapters/ and doubles in http://schoolforadventurers.com/_Chapters/ - The "Start from the Beginning"-Link at the main page also should direct to http://schoolforadventurers.com/_The_Chapters/Prologue/FellPrologue1.html instead of http://schoolforadventurers.com/_Chapters/Prologue/FellPrologue1.html to eliminate the doubles
- The maps-page has Northern Easden without the map of it - the drop-down menu at the side-bar does not have Northern Easden listed at all
- http://schoolforadventurers.com/AP-Underclass.html ...required to submit to a C- or D-level, in-action assignment,... I think the comma after D-level does not belong there (I am no native speaker so I could be mistaken), same with http://schoolforadventurers.com/AP-Upperclass.html "Fourth year" ... required to submit to a C-level, in-action assignment,... "Fifth year" ... required to submit to a C- or D-level, in-action assignment,... in "Sixth year" it is correctly (in my opinion) without comma
- Chapter headings (chapter and subchapter) in Book One Chapter Two page 28 reads "Introductory Runes", page 30 reads "Combat Casting", page 32 again reads "Introductory Runes", and both page 34 and page 36 read "Combat Casting" - I guess either page 30 or page 32 (or both) have the wrong heading
- The Copyright is outdated: "Copyright 2007 SchoolForAdventurers.com" you should change that to "Copyright 2007 - 2008 SchoolForAdventurers.com" or, if you wait a few months to "Copyright 2007 - 2009 SchoolForAdventurerss.com"

Just two typos if book 1:
'ruensbane' (in : rai intro) ... not sure if its typo but considering the context I'd guess 'runesbane' was meant instead ?
'make-work' (in: -28-) ... probably mage-work
I'm reading the book second time so I'll let you know any other typos I'll find

As for the spelling of ruensbane, well, we wrote it that way and decided to keep it that way. I even have an explanation for the spelling. =)

"Ruen" is the old incarnation of the word "rune" and existed before the present Easdenian dialect came to being and before the writing system was standardized.

[40] angst-y : here it looks like the word was divided, then put whole on one line but the divide mark was left
[43] "Um, can I as you what you're doing.... " : I'd expect it to be 'can I ASK you what...'
[87] ..inspected the white root power... : I think they meant powder, not power
[105] 'happily then ever that she had switched majors' : Averi switched minors, not majors, didnt she?
[106] the last line of the page is repeated again at the next page ( [107] )
Latest update ... (book 2)
on page 61 the last two lines are the same as the first two lines on page 62 (that means they are doubled there)

Thanks, mjkj! It's fixed now. 
Also, to Rizzy-- we fixed those typos in the book for publishing, but we haven't updated the website. Rest assured that they're not going to show up in the finished product! Thanks for the heads up.

Yikes! Thanks for taking so much time with your comments, we really appreciate knowing what we can do to improve the site! It may take us awhile to make all of them, but we'll get to them! I've been working my way through the website changes, although I hold JLY entirely responsible for the academic pages. =)

Well, thank you for the corrections, mjkj. I'm revising the academic policies because I've made some changes to the curriculum. I'll be sure to take your comments into account, though it might be awhile before they'll show up on the main page.
Fell's special warrior name. Is it Fallen or Fallan? On some pages it says Fallen, some it says Fallan and on his character bios it says Fallen...
If you need a professional editor, I am happy to stick my services in for free. *Laughs* It's what I do for a living anyway.
Ah, the editing process. It's officially "Fallan", though that particular name and spelling weren't decided upon until the middle of our story, so there's bound to be some errors here and there.

On page 22 Fell is suddenly written as Fall a couple of times.
On page 81 there is a reference to 'febuary bush". Shouldn't it be "februrary bush"? (not sure about capitalization in this case--names of things usually are capitalized)
To Kadoxo: It is intentionally febuary. See KL's blog for an explanation.
It has to do with the reason as to why the Eastridge Academy universe still has the same months and days as ours.
That doesn't explain why its missing the 'r' after the 'b'.
The second book's pages Titles say 'The First Book'.
Book 2 chapter 4 pages 156 to 157: double word "she" - the page 156 ends with "she" and the page 157 starts with "she" - so it is up there one time too much

On the apply for eastridge page it still says youre taking applications by request.I dont know if you want it still up there just thought I'd point it out.

To Rizzy (sorry this is from a very long time ago ^_^*) - that fix is a bit hard, so we... might just leave it up for a bit... Thanks for pointing it out, though. We should definitely fix it.

In the todays update, you write ' ma'm ' .. I believe its spelled ' ma'am ' correctly.
in the latest update when vice and Averi are talking, she says "i was just wondering if someone cast the undead rune - " there should be a new paragraph there
- The first paragraph and the first line of the second is double. It is both at the bottom of page 169 and at the top of page 170.
- In the first paragraph (on both locations) there is an odd wording: "...that she was nearly went..." I believe that the "was" is not supposed to be there: "...that she nearly went..."
- and further on in that sentence: "...instead of the entrance." I could be wrong here but I think "...instead of to the entrance." would be better

mjkj was faster but I've one extra - in the first page, isnt Averi thief minor instead of major?
I beleive that in addition to its normal usage "Major" can also denotes "Department" its been used this way in the past.
Sorry, the wording is confusing, but yes, Tonno Topia is correct. The word 'major' in that sense refers to 'department'. =)
Can the word "department" be used? Pretty sure I said department in a story, but if it's not canon, I'd rather fix it.
I'm fairly sure we've used it before in the context of something like, "The Head of each Department...".
For some reason, I have had one short post get eaten....and then a much longer IC post get eaten, I think I just shut it down before it fully sent butttttt it took over five minutes to send and it could only have been 5 or 6 paragraphs at max

Its alright JLY considering the mass of people and amounts of data going onto the tangler, 2 lost posts out of 100's is pretty good...besides the second one was prolly my fault. Word will likely be my safe haven.

um i dont know if this comes under your area or its a tangler issue, but a large amount of posts are deleted in certain threads, or ratheer they just dont show up, ive started a new account to see if that helps, any guidance?
I think that's more of a tangler issue. I know I've had some issues where certain posts just don't show up. Maybe we can say something to the tangler staff?

roblem is that it appears just to be the instant chat post phase 2 writing and more recently the post phase two, i dont know why those ones pecifically and i dont know how to contact tangler on thr issue

Page 84. Line 4 "Runesbane" spelled like "Ruensbane" Seems like a typo.

Same with the deliberate misspelling of the febuary bush, though I'm considering altering it to the word as we know it, if only to stop the squiggly red lines from showing up.

its just like demon and deamon. all preference. btw rune is an old word for secret or hidden. thats why they called it the rune system ( im guessing) because you have to learn it to use it?
Okay, not to question your near infinite wisdom or anything, but the last sentence on page 315 and the first sentence on 316 seem (at least to me) to be revisions of each other, and the last word on 316 ("To") doesn't belong.

Last line of 315 and first line of 316 are the same...
...and it seems that between 316 and 317 at least one line is missing (or the To is wrong - but I think from the continuing of page 317 that it is more likely that there is something missing...)

@TBD -> No, this is not normal. In fact, I am becoming very concerned that there have been no messages from the girls to tell us what's up. I would think that after a few days something would have been posted about this. I guess if something is done or said by Friday, it will be time to start emailing people direct.
@Felix -> I'm curious...Have you heard something from outside the forum that would lead you to believe SFA is in trouble? Its been quiet before. But you sound a bit ... scared ...

@people: Over the past X months the authors have been very busy bees. I think they're devoting less time to this place. Maybe checking it once a week since this is NOT the first time the entire site went kaboom

Hey there, shiny happy people! The authors are aware of the problem, and KL is setting about fixing it. Not to worry... the site should be back up soon

@KM -> Cool deal. As long as they are aware and working on it, that's good enough for me. It was the 3 days of dead silence that was worrying me.
@Felix -> You do know that school just started for some, yes? This could explain the lose in traffic around here. I don't think the community is gone to the 4 winds. I think they are just dealing with that thing called "Real Life". I know, its a scary thing, but you'll get use to it (Sorry Felix, couldn't help myself). But seriously, I'm sure things will pick up in the near future. Especially when he girls start book 2 up again.
@Top: Ah Top. Hate to say this, but I know that already. I myself don't really check out what's up on the site but once a week (Friday's to be exact). But I also use the site as a way into the forums (and yes, I do have a separate link into the forums). This also allows me to check to see if anything special has come up during the week. This is how I knew the site was down on Monday. Since no one else had sounded the alarm, I took upon myself to do so. That way the problem gets worked on now and not 5 days later. And now I check it to see if the site has come back up again. I have no problem waiting. Being in IT, I know these things can take time. My only real concern was knowing if the girls knew what was going on...
After a brief chat with our webhost, we have gotten the site back up. Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks to everyone who let us know!

Having re-read the whole works this past week I stumbled over a small inconvenience: The side bar isn't quite up-to-date and when you read the story as a book it kind of stops with Book 2 chapter 5 (HTML page 255). Chapter 6 first page (pg.257) can link back to ch. 5 but last page of ch 5 links to <last.html>.
