I assume you've played the crap out of DA:O so I'm going to direct my question at you. In the Dwarf Noble prologue, after the prison scene, is there any way to re-obtain the promo items (including Blood Dragon Plate)? I don't need specifics, just a yes or no answer will suffice. I can't find one online without spoilers.

Something possessed me to be an Elven Mage on my first playthrough. Usually I'm a Warrior or Warrior type, so imagine my excitement when the Dwarven Berserker/Reaver came along. But, alas! I chose Elven Blood Mage/Shapeshifter. I don't know why I did it. I don't regret it at all, it's just that I like swords (and giant hammers!), and the fact that I'm 6+ hours into the game and STILL no Blood Dragon Armor is kinda bumming me out. Actually, I do have to go back to Orzammar...

2. Obtain gratuitous amounts of Kryptonite. (with Lex's money)
3. Create a distraction that would force the entire Justice League to leave the Fortress (ie destroy Manhattan) (with Lex's money)
4. Get a crack team of super powered infiltration experts to break into the fortress equipped with leaf blowers rigged to blow powdered Kryptonite all over the Fortress, paying special attention to sleeping/eating areas. (with Lex's money)
5. Wait a few days.
6. Force a confrontation with the by now useless Superman.
7. Do happy dance/bathe in Supe's blood.

And extra DA goodness. CHRISTé they put so much extra bloodspatter into the final release. And they cut out lots of good scenes. Sad face.
The armor WAS in my inventory, but it disappeared with the rest of my stuff after the Trian incident.
It's a bug. With DLC items they can disappear when loading you're game if you're online account hasn't loaded, or you did it way too fast and there's an error. The only way to get it back is to reload and not save while your equipment is gone. If you've already done that, I suggest enabling the console and just giving the item back to yourself.
Hey, what do you use the gems in Dragon Age for? All they do so far is take up space in my inventory, and though I'm loathe to sell them until I figure out what they're for. Plus, they're shiny. =)
Later on you can donate materials to make weapons, armor, and to your troops to improve them in the final battle. Very necessary if you're playing on a non pansy difficulty. The Dwarves ask for gems.
Get the Warden's Keep DLC if you don't have it already, it comes with a party storage chest. You can also purchase backpacks to increase inventory size from merchants.

It's the debugging console, we use it in QA to test specific stuff. Players can use it to screw around.

If a rocket was projected as a wave pattern, setting up harmonics such that they reconstitute the original relationship at another point of space/time, any variations could be sorted by a 'key' included to ensure the reconstruction was identical. If so a flight to our nearest star, Alpha Centauri, being only four and half light years away would effectively only take 4.5 years. Harmonic travel is impossible and I am making it up as I go along but if we did land on new planets, do you think there would be any sexy girl aliens? I don't mind if they’re green but they would need to not eat me or control my mind.

Where does EA/BioWare get off releasing THREE DLC's within a few months of prolly the Game of the Decade's release? Who do they think they are, extending poor players' pleasure like that? Why can't they just let what has to be the greatest achievement in gaming die? You've prolly picked up the fact that I'm speaking (typing?) ironically. If you didn't, it's because you're an idiot, and you probably ask questions like "What am the sky?" and "How does eat food?"
Actually, I'm really excited EA and/or BioWare is keeping their promise to enhance the game with a boatload of DLC, unlike Mass Effect. (Two? In, like, 3 years? Really?) This trend is supposed to go on for a couple years, so at this rate, I calculate a grand total of 75 separate DLC's. Get to work BioWare. We're watching you.
Blood Dragon Armor. Kinda reminds me of Staggy or the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Makes me wish there was a "Bite Kneecaps" or "Bleed on Foe" skill.
@Felix: It will end...with a bang...and a whimper. Everything will be destroyed with Black Mage being the only one left but with no one else around and nothing left to destroy so he will go out of his mind with boredom. IMO.

Ahem: I'm thankful the Pokemon taught the Jedis how to grow crops. And swords. I'm thankful for swords. Now I'm going to lie down and then throw up according to tradition. Hey, sorry to disrupt your regularly scheduled whatever you guys are talking about. I need a recommendation for a good book to read, since anyone reading this obviously has amazing taste in books. Any suggestions?
fantasy? Lord of the rings. Sci fi? Battle field earth. not as heavy fantasy? the Atremis fowl series. Military Sci fi? John Ringo's Into the looking glass series. guilty pleasure? Redwall.
If you like fantasy young adult, Suzanne Collins has written The Hunger Games which kind of reminds me of Battle Royalle. That book has a sequel Catching Fire. If you like fantasy modern day, I've been reading The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher (which is a little smutty in parts, but overall, enjoyable); also by Jim Butcher is his Codex Alera series which is alternate medieval fantasy. I've heard Fablehavenis pretty good (on my sister's recommendation), but haven't gotten around to reading it myself. If you like zombie fiction, World War Z is fun. I guess everything I've recommended isn't very heavy reading, but it's entertaining. What are you looking for?
Thanks Felix and JLY. I'm all about entertainment. I like a deep read every once in a while. I just finished RA Salvatore's The Pirate King. I have read the Hunger Games and now I am super mad that I have to wait until Aug to read the third (they are really good if you haven't read them, just be warned-August is 8 months away). I really like the young adult fantasy because you get a decent story and action, but the authors know their audiences and are usually pretty good about keeping things moving. Its weird, I will sit and read D&D manuals (have never played) just because I love the trivial minutia, but Lord of the Rings kills me every time!
After re-reading my post, I wanted to clarify something. I don't consider RA Salvatore deep, just long. I read non-fiction and other "real" books, not to mention way more text books than I could ever want to.
Indeed. I end up reading a lot of young adult novels for both work and entertainment purposes, so that's what I spend my free reading time doing. I just finished the Percy Jackson series, after having heard about the movie coming out, and while not any one book is spectacularly good, it's amusing.

i think there will be a great equalization of alignment among them. Black Mage Evilwizardington will become "good-ish". Thief the Price of Elfland will learn to share (grudgingly). Red Mage Statowski will get off of his +4 high horse of Pride. Fighter McWarrior will become a bit disillusioned to good and righteousness and will be the top candidate for turning against his team mates.
Well, I think its going to be Thief, Red Mage, Black Mage then Fighter. And i wouldn't be surprised if Fighter actually lived because he is so unaware that he dose know its time to die...Of course, I could be wrong...

@ superdude from 1/3/10 ive read the hunger games and agreed that they are amazing and reread them too. fablehaven i recomment,having read the 4 books currently out. World WAr Z is amazing, but slightly confusin, Artemis fowl series isnt bad, but slightly kidish. Bartemaeus trilogy is good to. Maximum Ride is slightly under Hunger Games

@Felix: I can't see somebody like that being Lawful Good. Maybe Chaotic Good due to the nature of his superpowers. Neutral Good is also possible but I think CG would be a better choice. It really depends on his attitude...
@Felix: No seriously, in his current incarnation, he has telekinetic power to make anything his "Arms" in whatever shape he wants. It got kinda creepy recently XD Alignment: Depends more on personality then whether they can sprout limbs
i decided on CG. the chaotic nature of his power puts him at odds with the mainstream of societies view of the good guy. so he works out side and around the law.

@Felix: I'm talking about Mainstream doctor octopus. Check his wikipedia, some of his more modern powers is not controlling SPECIFIC arms, but specific telekinetic that manifest as him using materials as faux limbs.

Ah yes, they had a recent very long blog thing about Dr. Doom and Magneto, Thor and Magneto have the same problems. God powers, time travel, bending physics. I'd probably root for Thor just because he has more immortality going for him. I mean seriously, when Thor dies, some new schmuck picks up the hammer eventually and bam. New Thor. Magneto expanded his lifespan a couple times, but he'll die eventually.

Dah, we got about 4-5 hours of content, but you can't run a demo at a booth that lasts 4-5 hours, so we just did a 10 minute demo and sliced the rest of the content out, hence why you have to sleep over and over to get to other characters.
just got done reading JLA/Avengers...mind is blown...the writers did a very good job on the two teams opinions on each other and each others worlds. 'sides... im a PvP freak when it comes to these games. And after a long discussion with my brother drawing on our not inconsiderable experience in MMORPGs, we've decided that Jedi will be largely overpopulated. Therefore, PvP on the Jedi side will be few and far between as huge queue lines will ensue for the side with the least number of players
Not to mention, we like the impossible odds of fighting 10v3 in world-PvP >:D
Even with 100% light side in both KoTors, I had so many force points I could still force lightning everything to death..
Not so heroic when it's 3 friends, plus twenty random nubs, hunting three sith just trying to finish their quests... rather to be the three sith hunting 20 jedi as they try to complete theirs!

I wouldn't mind playing anything except the actual Sith Warrior/Jedi class depending on what is in highest demand. That, and traditionally I've played every type of character that doesn't involve warrior. Warrior is usually too straight forward for my liking. I like being a sneaky, clever, conniving little bugger
I don't mind playing a healer, although I warn that I'm highly unorthodox when it comes to my healing. Back before Burning Crusade, I did things like stack stamina to make a super healthy healer for battlegrounds. In PvP, the healer is tank!

Yay, my copy of sfa finally arrived today, wow, I knew that the story in sfa was long but reading in the internet, never gave me a real idea of the exact numbers of pages that sfa had, now that I have the book in my hands, my perspective changed entirely, for some weird reason I always pictured the book in my mind with a lot less pages.

Ralton -> If you are talking about the Photon Torpedo Blast Rune (PTBR), it is one of my own creations. I use it to dispense "EXPLOSIONS by TLO" when someone starts a "conflict" on the forums. I started it over a year ago (I think, so you are going to have to troll back pretty far) and is not meant to be taken seriously. Although, I was planning to use something similar with my Phase-2 character Step. If you have any other questions about it, fell free to ask. But like I said, its mostly for use on the forums than anywhere else...

Well, the plan is to get my taxes done today. Yes, that's not necessarily fun, but if I get the refund I think I will get, it will be more than worth it. After that, I don't know. I have some gaming stuff I could do (building a 3D DM screen that looks like a castle wall) and some other stuff (work on my flight simulator or design a starship (Trek Universe)) I could work on. I haven't decided yet. Its only 11:30am here.
@Felix: Yes. Didn't you know. They are called Wall Muffins. But you have to mix it right or it comes out too dry and tastes more like dry-wall and less like muffins. And you could chip a tooth...
speaking of that i heard a funny story tday. One of my friends was tellin me about this guy in our school who found a screw that was baked into his lil debbie snack. he sent in a letter n photos n stuff and they sent him a huge box of the things to keep him happy

Now, I wouldn't say I'm a rabid gamer or designer, but I do game/design quite a bit. But what is "leetspeak"? Letters? You are going to have to explain that one...
I resent the stereotype that all gamers are fluent in leetspeek. I'm about as rabid a gamer as ever there was, but I can't read a lick of it, and am more likely to punch someone who can read it as learn to read it myself. And yes, I do realize that sentence is a mouthful, but it's a perfectly cromulent sentence.

leetspeak its a form on online communication that used symbols and numbers instead of letters. mainly to confuse other gamers or to pass messages through cipher.
82377 #422!5 is brett harris(my name) but its in "full cipher" meaning no letter is its origional. its hard to explain without knowing if you understand what im tryin tsay lol
