Slide is more oriented making slideshows from existing photos. SlideBurner uses PowerPoint or OpenOffice files as source; so you can reuse existing presentations (containing also text). You can also secure them (password or liste of users) in order to let only your friends or clients view them.

Yes. With the free account the limitation are : 200MB max, and 20MB per presentation. There is also a premium account with 1GB of storage
OK, that makes sense.
There are lots of apps out there for pics, but this is the first I've seen for ppt.
Why use SlideBurner over Vyew ?
Vyew, as I understand, is more like webex. It's a tool to give remotely presentation. It's a one shot; you give your presentation to users who are connected and it's finished.
SlideBurner is more like a catalog of slideshows. You can browse it, and view presentations everywhere at any time. They can also be embeded in your site or blog.
