No. Interaction is one of the hallmarks of Web 1.0, and easy interactive discussion is very Web 2.0

I think that Apollo and Silverlight are potentially glimpses of web 3.0  - but it will take more trends to converge to create a new version number

Remind what Apollo and Silverlight are?

I remember the names but not the things

With new technologies that are taking advantage of broadband "always on" connections and combining it with the social community model I see interactive discussion becoming the hallmark of web 3.0 as well.

For example Joost you can watch interent television that streams to your computer without having a browser open or typing in an address and have the ability to socialize with others that are watching the same show as you are. It will be like sitting next your buddies on the couch watching a game or something, except the person your chating with will be on the other side of the world, provided you communicate in the same language.

Last.fm has a media player that tracks your listening habits and produces a suggested playlist either from your habits or from the people you make friends with. Now imagine if you add the ability of chating with your friends while your listening to that music on that media player. Or better yet a Media Player for Artists who are trying to produce a track with someone else in two different parts of the world interacting with each other in real time trying to get the track and lyrics down without having to open a browser and sign into a certain website.
