With the new announcement of Weblin and the presence of MyBlogLog and Gravatar plus someothers that I don't know about yet.

Where is the Avatar technology going?

Will we see something like Me.dium taken off the sidebar and implemented into a webpage via XML or something?

Does anyone actually use Mobber ?

Web annotation/discussion has been tried quite a bit before (third voice in 99 being the first i think).

Takes a lot to get over the audience focus (everybody's is in one group/is one audience), content level (usually chatty) and causality (nobody using it).

All three of these need to be solved, and noone has done that yet.

I still want to launch one of my ideas for motion avatars.  

what are motion avatars? animated gifs?

I find those to be annoying as hell

I don't like mybloglog at all.

I don't use the Mybloglog widget instead I found an easier way to bring in the images of my readers using simple HTML take a look Standard Society.

The only problem I get is the image uploads due to the fact the images are stored on MyBlogLog so if MyBlogLog is slow or down so are the Images.
