  Book #10: Dead In the Family **SPOILERS**

  I have never posted here before but I have been reading this forum for months.  I have read this whole thread and I think everyone has great ideas.  I am not worried about the HEA because I think it has already happened.  It is Eric and Sookie.  These books are called the Southern Vampire Mysteries (mysteries being the prominent word).  We have seen in Ditf how well Sookie and Eric work together with mutual respect for each other's opinions. Maybe CH will continue with the mystery aspect with Sookie and Eric working together like Lily Bard and her husband.

  The Blood Bond is probably better off broken, not because how it affects Sookie, but how it affects Eric.  Pam is worried about how Eric has changed since they have been bonded by being distracted and not able to keep his mind on business.  Even Eric admits how he thinks about her from the moment he opens his eyes which is not good if he wants to stay on top of his game.  I don't think Eric wants to become King, he never has, but Pam would make a perfect Queen.  As for Sookie growing older and Eric staying the same;  did anyone ever see the movie Highlander?  He was immortal and his wife grew old and eventually died.  He never stopped loving her and it was a tragic but beautiful scene at the end.  Okay this is all JMO.  If CH goes for three more books I think the last book will have them getting married finally.
