I just read the 3 Office outtakes yesterday ! HOT! This lady can really deliver love scenes.. She has just the right mixture in her characters to make her fanfic amazing.  I'm spoiled now and have trouble getting into other fanfics..The bar is up so high ..Edward in the Office is soooo sexy and I love how her Bella is his equal counterpart in every way..

She can - I gave up on HPA! I got to chapter 34 after she had Eddie all drunk throwing a Jerry Springer scene in a restaurant. These people are billionaires?? And what's with no one really flinching when his constanly kissing Bella's boobs in public or in the back of the car in front of his bros & their girls? But anyway - the sex scenes actually became very repetitive for me. And very rough in a porno way. I gave up!

On to something else. I might try Wide Awake.

Wide Awake is like its own novel, own plot, with characters that happen to have Twilight names, and honestly, I can't believe that this is that woman's first writing effort.  She has such a good handle on dialogue, inner dialogue.  She's really developed both Edward and Bella into believable, deep characters.  I don't know why she did this as fanfic.  She could publish this

I am liking it very much. It took until about Chap. 10 for me to really warm up. I thought it was a bit slow going & a little too wordy.  But the writing style is completely authentic. And yes - I am amazed it is her 1st attempt.

I don't know if it's one of my faves yet storywise although I'd be tempted to call it that for just sheer talent alone.

It's not really smutty...definitely not the Office, for example, but an excellent story.  I really had to search for the remaining chapters, and I think she's working on an epilogue right now, but for all intents and purposes it's finished.  I think she moved it because 1.  her chapters were too long and she was always having to split them up to post them, and 2.  I get the impression she got an offer to publish, and had to move it from public domain?  I didn't look to hard because I really just wanted to read.

True confession... Let love in was my first experience with fan fic and I skipped most of the story for the dirty parts... to this day I can't make it through that piece of fic.. I have read some of her other stuff all the way through, but Let Love In, though good, was a bit left field.

There too many good twi fics. Actually some on them just blow my mind. They are better than the books.

Amanda, I can relate, that's why it took me so long to get back to my ongoing fic, I was convinced it was crap. But, I'm so glad you mentioned Meads (S. Meadows), she is such a great writer and the sweetest person I know. I love her dearly and her writing is magical.

Let the love in was my first fic too, that's why I still have my fangirl moments with Terri Botta. It's not my favorite SVM fic, but it's great and very long. I'll always have a soft spot for it because it was what brought me to fanfic. It's the same thing with Wide Awake, it was the first twific I read and I'll always love it.

There are just so many good stuff out there, it baffles me.

let love in, isn't that where they go to the resort on an island? if so, i read every minute of it. just like you, ahem, sistas of a dirty mind club, i skipped to the porn, and then re-read each chapter, using the porn as a motivator. it's not that is wasn't good, but at that moment i wanted porn. once i read it, i was hooked to even the slower fanfics knowing they could turn out to be great.

Sorry but I have to admit Let Love In Made me laugh!!! It was soooo OTT. That was my 1st foray into fanfiction too so I didn't know what the hell to think! Then I read 'Late' & that was silly too (JMO! Sorry!!) & thought - what the is this?

But actually w/out those two - I prolly would have never explored further. B'c in discussing them -  an old poster posted 2 of her one shots that I thought were really cool & was pleasantly surprised. So then I just started exploring.

I'm so happy I didn't make up my mind & just write the FF concept of based on my initial impressions. It's very cool. And a HELL of a lot of talent.

I guess this belongs on the fanfic thread. I know everyone hates it, but I just love Late.  It's supposed to be a soap opera now rather than a fic, and we are on chapter 73 or something.  Sookie is some brain dead character I don't recognize, but I really like her Eric; cunning, loving, passionate, and occasionally sadistic because he's a vampire.  I must admit the flying, talking baby is right out of the Ardal O'Hanlon BBC sitcom "My Hero".  Still I'm always pleased to get an update. I do appreciate good fanfic, but I like this weird one too, off in its own universe.  Oh, and the porn is at the end of every chapter, so you can skip right to it.

It was good. Excellent in parts but too long to be a fave of mine. She clearly has talent though & a very authentic voice for her characters.

Mr. Horrible is great.  Bella is so funny, and their relationship is cute sprinkled with swear words and clever arguments.  Loved it.  I also read Clipped Wings...reminded me a lot of Wide Awake. Bella's recovering from unprecedented tragedy and Ed is too, but further in his past.   It's not finished yet, so that's a bummer. The tattoo and piercing bent is eye-opening.  I feel so white bread.

I've been going through the list that's further up this post, since I blew my Kindle book budget for this month...must read free stuff!  I read the prologue of Hydraulic 5, but it didn't pull me in, so I'm going to try it later.  Just read Gin, Scotch, and the New Girl.  It's very "Dangerous Liasons" and gives a nice twist to Rosalie.  It kept me intrigued, and--the best part---it finished.

saraswati, if you register on ffnet, you can subscribe to any author you like and it will email you an alert telling when a story has updated. It's why I registered in the first place. I'm glad I did, because I have too many fics to keep track of.

Laura, I've read The Forbidden Room. It's ok. It's slash. It has some pretty hot stuff, not my favorite, mainly because it's mostly sex and little plot. But it does have a plot. I also lack boy equipment, so usually I prefer boy/girl action. I can relate better. TFR is slash but it's an Edward, Jasper and Bella story, so there is a girl involved. It's good. I did like it, but it's not one of my favorites.

It's not a favorite of mine either but that being said I liked it. I thought it said a lot about the pain of fighting one's sexual identity & the confusion surrounding it. I become emotionally connected b'c I really felt their conflict. Esp. in the continuing story House of Cards.

I also liked how it explained BDSM. I didn't know a lot about that before. And from reading - it seems that many times a person goes that sexual route as a result of a trauma of some sort. Its about regaining control or losing it. I found it really interesting. The author's sex scenes where different too from what I normally read. A lot of the time it's the same old, same old descriptions, situations, even the words or phrases used. He/she was pretty um...creative!?

I am assuming the author is a man but not sure b'c they have other stories which are just male/female....??

I also gather from the bit that was posted on the author's main page that the author had received a lot of hateful feedback. That is sad. Why do people read it then if they're just going to end up being so hateful!?

So I give the author a lot of credit for sticking to their guns & putting their work out there on a continual basis. Esp. stuff that is clearly controversial & not what the norm is going to like. Takes guts.

Slash is same sex fanfic. Originally it came from Star Trek fanfic and the "Kirk/Spock" sex stuff.  Kirk slash symbol Spock as it was written.  Then it all came to be known as slash.

No Laura, I've never tried.  But I read tons of it, and I used to read Kirk/Spock stuff when it was popular.  Do you write?

No, not really. I used to growing up. Creative writing & stuff. Just an additional result of teen angst! My friend who is actually going to be a published writer - we used to encourage each other through made creative writing exercises we used to give one another. We'd pick a certain something to write about & give it parameters. It has to rhyme every 3rd verse or keep it down to 5 paragraphs but give two characters a personal backstory plus tie them into the present....things like that.

I have no idea how to write structure though. Neither of us were formal. It was more creative, to keep us sharp (well her b'c she always wanted to write a novel) & have fun.

I'd love to write one day though. I think about it. I don't think I could do fanfic though. I don't have any ideas. Or I haven't tried to think of ideas!

I used to write as a kid, but nothing much, and I never think about it now or I never have time.  I don't have any ideas either anymore.  You write so well on this forum though so you must be creative.

A girl I used to work with has had 2 fantasy novels published, and good ones too.  I met up with her recently and she said she always wanted to be a writer.  I worked beside her and never knew that about her.  Never too late to explore this within yourself.

I'm reading The Red Line right now.. SO GOOD!!! ..I think it's actually complete even though it's not labelled that way.. The storyline is intense and creative. It's so much better than it sounds in a summary..I find Edward fascinating..He's so sexy.. and yet its so heartbreaking that he has such little self worth.. The story is so well written ..It's funny and touching..Totally worth the read ..And of course plenty of HMS!!!!  Check it out if you get a chance ..

First of all: Thanks alot for introducing Fanfic to me!! Of course I always knew there r Fansites on which Ppl recreate stories or simply discuss the books, but what I didn't know is how some of those stories can really ease up some of the anxiety of waiting for the next book to release. I am readin 'I have gone out' right now and though ofc its not a typical Sookie book the idea is neat and somehow good ( in its own way, one must add)

I am open for suggestions regarding stories on Fanfic, although I would like to ask you to write the full titles instead of the Shortcuts, so I can find them. And of course if you would take the time to write a short resume about it, I would be delighted, but I know thats asking too much

Hey Mona! So most of the time...whenever anyone 1st suggest a Fanfic to others to read, they do write it out & provide the link (usually you can just click on the name).

It's generally only when people start dialoging about the story after it starts being read that the titles gets abbrievated so if you scroll through the thread....you'll find the full title's & links to most.

This particular thread are non-Sookie stories (Ooooh & there are some fabulous recommends).

Then we have another thread that is only all Sookie just called "Fanfic". That thread is long.

What I would do is have a read through 1st, maybe jot down the ones that sound interesting based on what people have to say & then once you have your list, ask the posters with help choosing if you feel you want a bit more guidance.

I just finished reading TRL earlier today. It was my first fanfic outside of Sookieverse and it was extremely disturbing. Honestly I am not big on really lemon-y scenes. Sometimes they are intresting and advance the story, but most of the time it is just TOO much. I enjoyed reading it, it was different and exciting. I decided to go a bit further and read The Submissive which was quite intresting and awkward to read. I find I keep looking over my shoulder expecting someone to walk up and see. I'm not sure if all that D/s stuff is really my cup of tea but its nice to have a change. Kind of strange picturing Edward and Bella like that.

I think I am damaged for good, 'cause of TRL!! I am reading Chapter 31 right now and I feel like screeming out loud "Please stop torturing US, Winndsinger!"lol. You promised the Raven scene would be the hardest but for me Chapter 31 is turning into real heartache.

You know when I started reading it I thought this girl sure did sth wrong by choosing twilight for her story. Edward a prostitute all practical? Bella confident and passing confidence to Edward, too? I don' think so.. I so hoped she would have chosen Eric and Sookie to star her story, as they are more likely to perform the characters she wrote. Now I am only thankful she didn't. I mean I still think Eric would have been a better choice but I am happy she didn't ruin those characters for me.

I finally understand why some of you needed a light story after TRL and I sure do, too. I was thinking of reading the Twilight-saga all over again but I don't think this would make me forget TRL. I rather believe whenever I will be reading the Twilight-books in the future I will forever be thinking of TRL.

At least we know about Eric that he had to be with Appius before, prostitution out of need would be more believable with him. And its easier for me to imagine Sookie getting lessons in making love ( after all she stayed a virgin till she was 25, right?) Mona, I totally feel your pain.. I had the same experience with TRL.. I couldn't stop reading yet I was often repulsed and completely freaked out by what I was reading. I found myself actually worried about the characters. Sometimes I would be so angry at Edward for not standing up for himself but mostly I was afraid for him and felt protective of his character. I really liked the way she wrote Bella. I've read so many fanfics and none of them came even close to stirring up the emotions this story did for me. That was a good suggestion to use Sookie, Eric and the SVM   characters for the story.. I love Eric.. I dumped Edward for him.. hee.hee... But, I don't think I could imagine Eric being with so little self worth... But, In Twilight Edward's character is a tortured soul always consumed with self hate and guilt. So I don't think using Edward was as big of a stretch as using Eric..Though you have a point with the Apius thing..and Eric is much more of a little slut than Edward..lol..Eric is more of a sexual being (vamp) to me than Edward.. But, Sookie would be PERFECT for the Bella part of the story..You're SO right !!!  I totally agree with you..Hmm an Edward & Sookie pairing. On second thought ..NOOOO that would be WAY to strange to read..Sookie can only be with Eric..I'm warped like that. I can't read the characters with anyone else..that's so cool that you do reviews. As for the Edward part, maybe you are right it wasn't much of a stretch imagining Edward throwing away his life because he's gone through too many troubles, but can u imagine him taking his strength from Bella?? I rather think he would act tough so she would feel safe with him not the other way around. And i definitely agree ERIC is a far more sexual than Edward ( I dumped Edward, too, after I read the Sookie books, lol)

You know I thought the same, regarding the part with Carlisle and Esme. I think she didn't know what to make with them once she brought them in to the story. I just wished she would have made Joseph and Katherine the bad parents, 'cause not a second I believed Esme could be a bad mom who uses drugs and alcohol to get over a rape and neglect the long wanted child the way she did. I didn't like her first Idea also. I was happy she announced she's going to change it but after I read what she wrote, I wished she would have turned to the Supernatural alternative than making up a crappy story which makes no sense to me at all.

There are so many good stories.. You should check out Spy Games . It's not dark ..it's very smut filled..but the storyline is well thought out and it's pretty intense..It's not complete yet but she updates regularly.. for a more serious and emotional fanfic you can try Emancipation Proclamation it's not light and fluffy that's for sure..and it's incredibly long..over 50 chapters and it's not complete yet..But it is well written..an emotional story..Or for some very naughty fun  I loved Master of the Universe it's a dark Edward but he's definitely not wimpy.. It's also not complete yet..but, it's really good.. there are so many to chose from . I could go on and on..I've become a total fanfic whore..*blush*  I started reading  over the summer and i can't stop reading them.. It's so darn addictive.. But The Red Line was an experience like no other..that one is hardcore fanfic...It's not for the faint of heart..There are a bunch of great Sookie and Eric stories too..check out the Fanfic topic and there are links posted to them..  Oh, you definitely HAVE to check out The Office it is STEAMY..but so damn good..Edward is nicknamed the "Beautiful Bastard" such a great read.. but it's pretty darn smutty..read the first chapter and you'll see what I mean.. Also, I'm trying to remember what triangle is in the story. A love triangle? I must have blocked out some things.. That story had such a strong impact on me.. That's funny that your guesses were wild..compared to the authors imagination I would agree with you that not much would be off limits to predict.. ya just never know where she's gonna go.. Take a small break and read The Office update.. It's so darn good.. of course..that girl knows how to write fanfic.. Keep me posted on your TRL journey..

OK so I finished the big bad chapter of TRL & not that this story wasn't over the top before but it turned silly for me. Do I HAVE to read anymore? I just finished chapter 33.

I have to say -  I was more disturbed by Bella as 'Pet' b'c well...that's demented insofar as they were actually in love & that was his way of relating.. also Edward in Raven's in the box b'c well, I am claustrophobic. BIG time.

Yeah, Bella as a "pet" was demented. "Whatever Edward is, I am too." Really, Bella? This just doesn't scream healthy relationship and you are studying to be a psychologist.

After that crazy shit in chapter 32/33, the story finds "the point" again.You don't have anything crazy to worry about after that.

FINALLY. I finished the damn thing! Phew. That was long. It was good. Different. She definitely got the right creepy factor & emotional factor in. Those 2 Chapters derailed it a bit for me but other than that, really good b'c it was different.

This has got to be the cutest.. sweetest... sexiest little story. I just love, love, love their banter & the thoughts she has rolling around Edward's head.

I love the fact that he's not fighting his feelings & therefore, afriad of them & ignoring them...b'c that would be annoyingly angsty.

Rather - she makes so so that he doesn't actually understand them. He is processing them & he is not running. He is actually trying in a very subtle way to stay with them & occasionally even owns them even though he seems to not understand where they are coming form or what they are about.

Bella....she is the smarter one. I LOVE that. She is all - you are an idiot. What am I going to do with you. I love you. You love me. I'll just keep patient & be with you until you figure it out b'c you are doing really well & it's not like you are treating me bad at all! You're worth it. You are a pain in the ass but you're what I want & worth it.

At least - that's what I get from the characters. I just love that.

I also prefer that the angst is the result of him not understanding his emotions as opposed to fighting them. The "fighting emotions" storyline is played out.

He wants to embrace them and does, he just doesn't understand what he is doing. He hungers for her presence and the thought of seeing her makes him absurdly happy and impatient, but he doesn't understand why. I want to slap him sometimes...

I also love that she is the smarter one. She recognizes the "love" she feels for him and doesn't fight it. She understands that he is emotionally retarded and is waiting for him to figure it out.

I love when she reads him the Frost poem and then has to explain what it means (follow your heart) because he is absolutely clueless. The convo the have after that is more about their relationship than the poem. I love that she does that. They have major relationship discussions under the guise of something else.

In Ch. 13, it was a relationship discussion during sex, which allowed them to pretend they were talking about sex when they really weren't.

Has anyone read Master of the Universe ? It's on my favorites list with Spy games,TNGUS and The Office.. It's witty and there is such great chemistry..Her writing style is very good. and of course there is HMS... Edward has that Eric Northman charm in this story.. He's dangerous and sometimes cold.. but then..sometimes he slips and shows his warm and humourous side ..and she just melts.. gotta love it..Check it out if you get the  chance. I'm curious to see if you guys like it as much as I do. She updates often..sometimes twice a week so that's really  great.. and she lets you know at the end of each update when to expect the next one.. she just updated today.. I am so lovin this story..

I had the same reaction..I really loved the beginning then somehow my interest in the story dropped off.. I think sometimes the author takes the story too far and the story (and the lovin) gets dull and predictable. But, I remember I really liked their first kiss in that story ..in the bathroom I think it was right? I may be getting my stories mixed up.. lol.. Hope you like MOTU..dying to know..We usually like the same fanfics..

But it didn't have the strong effect on me that MOTU had.. Her humor didn't show through in that story as much..I didn't find the characters as endearing...Something about MOTU Edward that just drives me crazy..and I adore the Bella in that story..She is a great fanfic writer though Safe Haven is definitely worth checking out to see if you like it..

So I am reading Safe Haven & seriously...she re-used all her same moves for MOTU. "Sex as a weapon"....the sex scenes themsleves, virgin Bella etc...hmmm....

I just read your post and then got the MOTU update..Haven't read it yet..But, I'm on it now..I didn't really like the Bella in Safe Haven..She was too meek and secretive. it was annoying..and Edward was so needy and not confident enough.. But your right about her using the whole virgin thing ..What did you mean "sex as a weapon" though ? I'm slow in figuring these things out..lol.. But, I didn't  see the similarities with the sex scenes when I was reading it..I don't know why..I'll have to go back and check it out again.. I remember as I was reading Safe Haven thinking it was the complete opposite of MOTU.. Edward was so darn touchy and needy and Bella was no fun at all.. their was no playful banter like I find in MOTU.. I don't know why I love that story so much.. P.S Ohhh..Have you ever read The University of Masen ? I read it last weekend..It's not complete..It's still building up..I'm lovin the storyline.. It's not a typical professor/student story at all.. so far no HMS.. lots of  intense UST..but, it's really really good. Edward is deep and complicated..which I just love..I'm a sucker for a mysterious Edward....

Amanda I am a big fan of FDM. I recommed a lot of her stuff in the other Fanfic thread so of course I know HOFOF! It was a fave until the last 2 or 3 chapters where it got totally OTT, As the World Turns style silly so I yanked it from my fave list but I still love FDM.

TNGUS has to be the cutest, sweetest story. I swear to goodness, they are just the coolest little characters.

Has anyone read The Screamers?

Hey Laura, did you read Mr. Horrible? It's really funny, although Angst is still in it, but you know it's almost impossible to go without it. I have to warn you though 'cause it's a constant up and down ride (funny, angst, funny, angst..), but the funny parts were worth it, believe me. It's also an AH Edward and Bella story and Bella is hilarious to say the least.

I know I have been MIA but it's actually your fault, you all introduced me to Fanfic and now I am like a Junkie who can't get enough and I spent all my free time reading, hehehe.

I started reading MotU and I like it so far. I have to admit the Dom-Edward is quite appealing and I search through the Fics in search for any new stories, but truly I am happy I never crossed another TRL.

I really need something ultra-light, because the angst and dramas are too much there. I don't want to start EW or TNGUS because I am a fast reader and I hate waiting for Updates, so maybe you can suggest me a finished fun-story?( I read The Office and loved it!!!Waiting for the Epilogue) 

Hey Mona! Thanks - yeah I got about 10 chapters or so into Mr.Horrible, it wasn't for me. I know, I am one of the odd men out, most people love it!

I just finished Progress. Well, not really I read until chapter 13 & got bored & so skipped to the end.  It's pretty light & it's a finished one Mona. It has the same humor as Mr.Horrible but not as defensively quippy but the style of humor is fairly similar. Actually, it came runner up to MH in the comedy contest they had I guess & I think it's a well known fan favorite.

I'm going to try Library Rendevouz now. Oh la la.

Capital Punishment is a very interesting one to me. Not really lemony, but it's got me intrigued. I'm following it closely. It's kind of all over the place with add ins because some characters are from a different story, but it's interesting, it flows and I am hearting it.

Two Virgins, One Backseat is quite cheesy in some places, but remembering first times trying to have sex, it had me laughing my ass off.

Ay Ay Captain!

I wrote a Review to the outtakes of TO and asked her to explain why she took it off the fanfic..apparently many have the same problem as we have and wrote her a note in the Review. I guess she will be fixing it soon because everyone is eager to read the Epilogue and I would really love to reread the whole story.

Oh really how do you know? Did someone tell you she will be fixing it? Why the hell did she pull it? That shit is like the most potent crack..you can't do that. You just can't do that! Breathe....I am breathing now.

Sorry Laura I am just assuming because almost every review is about the Epilogue of TO and I think she will sure react to it. I am happy she pulled this nonsense after she finished the story not while I was in the middle of reading it. Though I really really wanna read the Epilogue.

Yes....on Livejournal. Honestly though - it depends on how much you love it. I don't really remember the bits I read on there. It's not one of my faves, although good, just too dang long. Oh..there's the Meadow scene. Where they come up with her Unicorn word & he gets to 3rd base with her (yes, I am still a child, although apparently though 3rd base means oral sex now but I am talking old school 3rd. A little digit action if you know what I mean).

Well i just read the first Chapter of Wide awake i wouldn't say I love it but since i finished reading MotU and now I have to wait for an Update (ughhhhhh) I am looking for finished stories.

Sports got only 2 chapters and it's an evil Edward who does bad things to one of his students. I don't wanna give out more. But remember how cruel TRL was and I think you'll get the picture.

Hey Kelli, trust me you are not a freak..because I love dom Edward a lot also. He's really addictive.  I read The Submissive and The Dominant, too. Loved them both! I am not against Hardcore but I think I did a huge mistake reading TRL as my first D/s story. And I am starting to get the picture..the good stories are all unfinished, so I should suck it up and start reading them. Maybe if I read so much as you girls do I wont feel the annoyance of waiting for Updates?

Mona, what's NM? Yeah..all the good FF are in progress.. But, luckily many of the good ones the authors update regularly.. It stinks when the authors abandon a good story.. Do you do the story alerts so you know when an update is posted? True the more you read and have on story alert the better it is.. because you always have something being posted..Yep i'm a hardcore FF addict..Not gonna lie..lol..

OK Mona -I read Sportz. WinndSinger is one f-d up puppy! Yeah - I didn't like that one but not so much b'c I was disturbed but it ..I don't know. it didn't bore me but I felt so disconnected that it failed to give me the full horror of the whole thing.

I starrted reading Dominant's Creed. The author constantly repeats herself in the same sentence all the time. Like...she use the person's name three times in one go or says things like: "When you know what you want, come back." and I handed her an invite card. "Flash that to the door man when if you feel the need to come back

Two chapters and she's done that 4 times already. Does that continue?? That will distract me.

Laura & Ashley, yeah I had tried to read Library Rendezvous awile ago and it didn't hold my ineterest either...I read Dominant's Creed over the summer..I just remember I liked it but, I can't remember the repeating.. But,i'm usually pretty oblivious ..Try Art after 5 you might like that one..Have you read it before? .. It's different..but, something about it kept my interest going.. I remember thinking : "Wow, she really CAN take it up, yet another notch"I was reading Blackout lately, but I really don't know if you would like it or not. I guess it depends on whether you like or dislike Jake. I was looking for something different from the norm when I started it. So maybe you will like it...

Well, Kelli, I now do know there is a God up there,who had pity on me,  because I won a Ticket to the 1st Screening tomorrow night. So instead of waiting till after tomorrow I am going to watch it tomorrow, YAAAY!!

So here are some other FF's i've recently read.. some of them are flawed.. They're no Spy games or TNGUS..but, I figured why only mention the outstanding ones..Those are so hard to come by..Check them out you never know.. I liked them..

Landscapes I just finished it.. In the beginning I was confused how Edward knew Bella..But, it gets much better..I like the storyline.. Edward is all sorts of messed up in the head..he's extremely aggressive and possesive with Bella and often arrogent and rude..my kind of guy.. lol...It's lemony and it's complete..

Magazines  This one is pretty hysterical.. Virginal Bella (not for long) ends up applying to be a porn star... Edward is the Hugh Hefner that's never been in love.. It has some great moments and some not so great moments..Overall though I can't stop reading it.. It's not complete yet.. She just updated it though.. I love Alice and the gang at the "Porn mansion" .They just crack me up..

A Litany at Dusk Edward is a Vamp in this one.. I like the way Bella mistakes Edward for an angel.. There are some interesting issues in this story.. It's not complete..

Mona you are so funny..I could have sworn I read Australia..I probably need glasses now after spending so many hours reading fanfic..lol.. I have never been to Europe..But I'm dying to someday make my way there..There is so much I want to see there..My friend Pete's family live in Austria and he visits there for weddings and such..I've seen pics and it looks so gorgeous..and the wedding tradition of the whole town being involved sound so much better than anything here..My memopry is so bad..But  think the tradtion they followed had something to do with brooms and running through the town.. I remember thinking how cool it was.. I'm not sure if your town does that or not..I don't know what town they live in..Maybe it's more of a local tradition.. How was NM? Did you love it?  I haven't read wreckage .. I should really check that  one out.. I really liked her Edward in Landscapes.  I'm reading  After All Edward is a nasty little turd at first and Bella is so kindhearted to him at times my heart felt so hurt for her..But overall it's a pretty good story..It's complete and It's holding my interest.. But Edward isn't as yummy and Possessive as he is in Landscapes..hee..hee .I really have issues..lol..

Laura ..that cracked me up that Edward wasn't Dom enough in Dominant's Creed .  Yeah he falls in love very quickly in that FF and loses some of that Dom charm.  lol..  Have you ever read Conflicted ? I started that a few days ago.. I'm reading that and After All.. Yep FF whore.. But, It's not too bad.. Nothing earth shattering or anything..But it's got an interesting storyline. Edward isn't Dom he's just emotionally unavalable.. Bella has a unique gift.. It's a long one though..

But there's sadness on their journey to the HEA..but, she writes it well and and in a believable way..she is doing future outakes as well.She has one she recently posted.. a happy fluffy outtake of  them in the future..it was so good. I can't wait for more of them

Hey Kelli, I Pmed you about NM, didn't u get my msg?? In case you didn't: I really loved it though I had a few points which annoyed me a lot: like Bella saying to Edward: "Is he going to hurt me? Read his mind!" How rude and so unlike Bella. Unless she did the same in the books and I missed it?

Traditions in Austria are different, but cool. I mean, like you said it could be a local thing with your friend but it sure sounds interesting. If you ever come to visit it would be a pleasure to show you around, in case your friend has not enough time.

I am still reading Landscape and because work started again I really don't get enough time to read more FF:(    I was so annoyed after reading MotU , because there wasn't ANY progress at all.

Finished After After 5. It's on my faves list. She wrote the incredibly well with really great and smart dialog. I am going to start Counterpoint next.

Yes that Edward is too adorable & if I have a kid, I am going to raise him like this Edward. I am reading Counterpoint & I have to say it's excellent b'c hearing Edward's POV is really extra insightful. It almost feel total new. The 2 pieces together are solid. She is extremely talented.

You know I have nothing against KS being Bella. Well, not as much as RP being Edward. I wish they would have chosen Chase Crawford.

I made a bold decision. I think I criticize all the story so much that I need to be on the other side of the whole thing. I think, I will try and write a short story. Maybe if I get the feeling of being an author rather than a critic I might be more sensitive, when I criticize anyone again. I already have a story in mind, but I fear my English skills will fail me.

I am still not through with AA5, cause it's really long. I just reached the part where Alice voiced her opinion to Bella and I so hoped I am not sounding like her, so judgmental and harsh. I think if my best friend would ever talk to me the way Alice talked to Bella I would never forgive her or myself for having a friend who has such a low opinion of me.

I can't wait to finish AA5 and read Edwards POV. I bet its great.

Finally, a new chapter of Spy Games is up.

I heard a lot about this Fanfic  writer - Pastiche Pen so I checked out a story of hers. It was really, really good. Her style is unique, concise and on point. Also - she usually doesn't exceed 10 Chapters. This one was 7. There is also an Edward POV to this which I haven't checked out yet.

Okay, so my friend posted a rush job on the Bella's Lullaby contest. She found out about Wednesday, Thursday was the deadline and at work we were both swamped with court stuff so we lacked enough time. I apologize for any typos as they're my fault.

Anyway, it is her first real story and I am quite impressed, especially cuz she ignores lemons all the way and managed to write some!

So Rani (Mona) and I have been writing a fanfic It's called  Master of Disaster ..It's pretty dark..some parts are downright disturbing.. We are trying to make sure we balance it with some humour and fluff..We have 4 chaps down and they were the hardest to write for us..There will be lots of Edward & Bella ahead..We must have been strongly affected by  reading The Red Line because our little story has gone to some dark scary places..  Check it out and please let us know what you think..It's okay if you think it's too much..We know it's not for everone.. Such Great Heights!  It is awesome. It's a Bella/Emmett story and the writer did a great job. She basically rewrote the series from new moon's end on and she did it well. It's, like, a wonderful insight to Emmett and Rose too. Bella winds up with Emmett. I'm on chappie 27 and am enthralled.

How My Life Was Ruined in 14 Days is pretty sweet & well written & paced.

Bella is very focused, serious, determined girl with a Master plan for her life. It's all mapped out. One night she watches the 40 Year Old Virgin. She realizes she hadn't factored sex into the equation so has to insert it into her plan somehow. So she comes up with one.

I started reading With Teeth which is only on the Twilighted fanfic forum. I have to say so far, so excellent. Edward is a drug addict, struggling w/recovery. The author portrays a very realistic picture of ooc drug use, the parties, the surrounding people, what goes on in one's mind. Dark but compelling & extremely well written.

Kelli & Mona - I have read MOD & am intrigued. I am also scared it's going to be another Red Line!! I was freaking out a little during that last scene. It's on my alerts. Keep up the good work.

And for anyone not reading The Cocky & the Cougar or Edward Wallbanger? Go, now. They are so damn good.

No we definitely won't be as dark as TRL..I know we have some dark spots..We want to balance out the darkness with fluff and humor.. The darkest parts of the story were in the first 4 chapters..I'm so glad you posted With Teeth..I wanted to read that and had trouble finding it..I will check it out now... Here's a few good stories that I wanted to share with you girls..

For lovers of TNGUS & Edward Wallbanger we have another super sweet, sexy one with fantastic banter & chemistry. Right up my alley.

I am loving Love me tender. Bella is turned by the volturri and she sees edward 30 years later. kinda long but fun nonetheless.

So I just finished the recommendation Heartbreak Remedy & I really liked it. I didn't expect to b'c in the beginning, I felt it was just a gratuitous & too false b'c Edward was so harsh & unorthodox in his intro-ing Bella into that world but the author fixed that.

It was compelling, upsetting, poignant, fraught with authentic tension & really enlightening. Also at times, beautiful. By the end, I could really see the connection between Bella & Edward, how meaningful they were to one another despite their "strange" lifestyle.

It might go on my favorites list b'c it was just so complete in explaining the BDSM lifestyle perspective w/out alienating the reader or just writing smut for smut's sake.

I didn't realize the author wrote A Beautiful Disaster, which is the sequel to HR. I have heard a lot about that. I will read that after the outtakes.

The HR outtakes are from Edward's POV, I just started reading them.

Oh god I think I might have cried through this entire Fanfic. It's written so beautifully bittersweet. It's only 5 chapters & like a series of one shots.

Confessions of a Nanny - pretty dang good. Steamy. I like this Edward a lot. Bella, Rosalie & Alice are cool but  this is my favorite Emmett thus far. He's hilarious, awesome.

However - you must check out Stranger Than Fiction. I am loving it. Bella writes Twilight (called Dusk) six years after Edward leaves her. Of course the book explodes & Edward catches wind. Really, really good.

OK guys – I just read this crazy, kick ass, compelling fanfic. Admittedly, it's not for everyone but I loved it.

Here’s the thing from making it pretty perfect IMO, the tons & tons of typos, grammatical errors, malapropism’s & spelling mistakes. It’s probably the worst I have ever seen/read.  

They're atrocious really, but If you can deal with it & motor through – it’s worth it & for me to say that is huge. I mean shit like that – esp. to this extent - drives me to the brink of insanity & yet I love this fanfic!!

Now this is authentic, nutso, off the charts legit, head trippy, unhealthy angst. Not that trite, fluffy, self-pitying angst which is easily resolved and only created b’c an author couldn’t come up w/anything more creative or compelling to use as reason to push the story along. Yes, I know – why don’t I tell you guys how I really feel!

Anyway the story is called Closer by teambella23 & I bought it hook, line & sinker.

Again, I warn you that sometimes it was seriously was like reading Morse code, the mistakes were just so glaringly bad. She did get a beta around Chapter 30 & it got a bit better. Not perfect but at least whole sentences weren’t missing anymore (I think).

Nevertheless, I got so into the story I would just make the corrections in my head & keep reading. Maybe it’s b’c I actually have had firsthand experiences with nutbags similar to these characters that even though the story is fictional, it just resonated. It’s gets pretty intense in parts & frustrating but I think it’s pretty believable even though you don’t want it to be b’c it’s unhealthy.

She has a sequel to this story called California Waiting. Whatever you do – do NOT read the little summary snippet on her author page describing it b'c she gives away a MAJOR spoiler which happens in Closer (Smacks forehead – DOH)!!

No one writes Lemons like Mary. I swear. her Edward is one of my ALL TIME favorites!  And check out her new story  Revelry  it's so good.

Here's another rec that you HAVE to check out. It's really like no other.. It should be it's own published story. It's a bit confusing at first... but once you understand what the storyline is you will be freaking amazed. It's so different and just mindblowing. I've never read another fanfic anything like this one. It's so good!

It's called Set in Stone  by Psyche001.  Check it out you won't regret it. I think you'd like this one Laura. It's so well written it's insane.

That scene in California Waiting when he was leaving Sears. What he does to the salesclerk when he is walking out with Bella. I was dying. Hilarious & just such an ass.

She's gotta get a better beta though. Her work is too good not to have it perfect! I know people who would love it & can't get through Closer & take it seriously b'c mistakes are so bad. That's a total shame. She should have a beta go back & fix the entirety of Closer. Even when she finally got a beta - they didn't do a very good job. I just wish she would b'c the story is so freakin' twistedly, awesome.

I am reading Pomme De Sang right now. It's OK.

A way more sexualized vampy Edward but it's a bit flowery & it gets me eye rolling in parts b'c it's cheesy OTT. Things like; "I want to lick your divine juices". I just snort! But I have to keep reading b'c she is basing a lot of it on Anita Blake & have to see what's going to happen when Bella is turned.

I love it when Closer Edward calls Bella  "Smella" it's so funny. YES!!  That CW scene in sears it a-m-a-z-i-n-g-! Hot loving..lol I loved the scene where she was burning his birthday cake and they were dancing to Bad Romance with the dogs jumping around them. Mary's beta is Tracy and she's been working hard for her as far as I know. they are both on Twitter. She's going through Closer and editing the whole thing for her.I just love that Edward he's one of my faves. He jumps out of the story at you.

Closer Edward is the bomb. He is authentically bad ass. It's an insanely great Bella too. They are a version of Sid & Nancy for sure. I read Through His Eyes but that Edward just seemed like a cheesy wanna be in comparison! Top Gun? Seriously!? I can't see the Closer Dickward ever admitting that Top Gun was one of the all time best movies! True Romance, Killing Zoe, Reservoir Dogs, The Believer, etc... but Top Gun!?? And quoting it? Oh no...no, no! LOL!

I don't know I will ever see another version of arrogant, selfish, crazy, "I really, really don't give a f-k" Edward that will compare to how bona fide Closers' is. We'll see! I look forward to seeing if I can root another one out!

BTW - I read the last 2 chappies of MOD this weekend. Too late for NYC suggestions?

Also, my vote on what to see - go full Domward now. Get that party going. You guys have taken great pains in beefing up the backstory, you can move that puppy forward now, IMO. Personally - I don't need to see his training. We know he's done it & why & we know he's a natural.

Maybe while he's going Dom on Bella's ass - you throw in a snippet of his training as a flashback if readers really want to see some stuff but I don't think you need it.

I know Closer Edward just drives me so crazy. I just can so picture him as a real man. a real sexy ass man...lol Did you read the shaving outtake? I loved it..

Silly girl..Of course we would LOVE NYC suggestions from you. or any suggestions from you at all..lol...We've been vague with landmarks and locations in the story. But NYC is such a great setting to write about. I agree with you about the Sam training scene. But, I think we might do an outtake for it. Some of the readers felt short changed that we didn't include it. I'm writing the party scene now. Mona's writing the second scene and it's gonna be a GOOD one. We add and tweak each others scenes together. Our writing styles are so similar that you can't tell that each chapter is written by two people..lol.  It's so cool.  I'm off to bed for now..What are your NYC suggestions?

Her characterization is sooo similar to theirs. Esp. in JM's The Story of My Life. You should read it. It's super short but I think you might really like. It's one of my fav. books of all time. It's messed, depression really b'c these people are so f-ked up but completely compelling.

She is making Bella a complete sociopath & JM & BEE specialize in characters like that. Rich, shallow, selfish, drug addled, abusive, sociopathic...

I just read the MOST winsome, charming, HOT, adorable Fanfic! I absolutely fell for it.

Renfield and Chiclets 

It has a Tim Burtonesque vibe which is a love story about two oddballs who found each other.

When reading it I can actually hear the voice of Jim Dale (Pushing Daisies, Harry Potter) narrating this story.
There were a few particular little moments which were so sweet & had be grinning from ear to ear that it just won me over utterly.

I see it all the time and I've seen it rec'd. I heard it's good, but I have not got around to reading it yet.

It is good. I thought it was going to be like Wide Awake b'c they seem to have the same fanbase. So I was hesitant & kept avoiding reading it. WA  was defo. good but a little verbose & therefore slow for me. CWAIA is long but it moves. It's pretty sexy & kind messed up. I liked it very much.

You like that, don't you? Sexy and messed up? That's why you love Closer so much. Seriously, I have yet to come across a story with more fucked up people in it.

Yeah, WA was slow, but it was good too. Maybe I'll check it out this weekend.

If you want more fucked up people read Heartbreak Remedy or Love Park. They really got under my skin & disturbed me b'c although stuff was OTT there was a realness to it. Real sociopathic behavior. The subversive kind where you think the person is good/decent but then they do something which is heartbreaking, that freaks me out.

I like sexy & messed up to an extent. I prefer it when it's not totally OTT. I like it fairly authentic. If it is OTT then it kind of has to be tongue-in-cheek in knowing that it is.

That's awesome! I read that story when it was posted on Twilighted. It was called I Love LA and it was about the original character Grace and Rob Pattinson. It was a very good story. Funny and cute. I'm super happy for her!

It is truly genius!! I can completely see this as a screenplay & movie. Totally Ridorkulously Adorkable!

I cannot even tell you how many times the I was heaving with should shaking laughs! When he picks her up for their 1st 'date'? 'Email My Heart' by Britney spears...one of the best lines I have ever read in fanfic. I had TEARS running down my face;

"Not for the first time, I wondered how Britney managed to capture the exact emotion behind our relationship. As the song ended, I made a vow to write her a letter to tell her exactly how she saved mine and Edward's love."

Oh my goodness. I could go on & on.  

YAY! Laura you read An Introduction to Swirl and Daisy. I'm so excited. the whole time I was reading it I couldn't wait to tell you about it. It's so hysterical. I loved chapter 7 with Edward and Charlie and when he brings his report cards and a letter of recommendation ...from his mom...lol, He's so freakin adorkable. and how Bella calls Alice (F word) Brandon..So funny. The scene at the museum with Bella crying in the bathroom was so touching...All of the LOTR stuff. How Bella can't go near his bed (head board is broken..lol) The Britney Spears song rec was so hysterical.I just love this story. there was an update today looks like we're heading off to high school. I love how in chapter 9 it was explained why Edward is called swirl. I can't wait to find out why Edward thinks of Bella when he sees daisy's. I have a feeling this will go into them being adults eventually because it's called "An Introduction ..." and she already has Edward acting like a little business man. Did you see the write up from the Perv Pack on her FF profile? They are crazy for the story and it's not even an M story. It just makes you feel so good to read it.

Oh Chapter 7 was crazy good. Just staggering b'c this Edward is so freaking earnest but he's not annoying as sometimes overly earnest people can be. He's so determined because he believes this is right. It's a magic chapter. In fact - it's a story filled with magic. I love it. It should be a movie or it's own little book. No joke.

Oh the broken headboard is so precious! It truly makes me laugh & feel all warm & fuzzy.

So crazy about what's going on at Fanfic.net. Yeah Teambella23 got a phony email from one of the LU freaks they mde up a fake email address posing as support at fanction to tell her to take down her story. They are sleezeballs .

Mona & I have been brought Master of Disaster of there too. It will be in both places until we get notified differently by the FF people. It's just so out of hand and it really takes the fun and fulfilment out of reading and writing fanfic. It's crazy. Stop and say hi if you get a chance. We're the new kids on the block. lol.

The site seems really cool though with lots of NC-17 stories to sink your teeth into. Oh and  you can see our story banner that has the bikini of doom in it. I love looking at all the different story banners on there. The site has the same set up as Twilighted You have to register to read on there . Then you have to check the box under Acount info-Edit Preferences to be alerted when your favorites update and then any story you click on to add to your favorites you will get an update for. It's pretty cool once you get the hang of it and there is no validation Beta like at Twilighted so the authors can post frequently. Since I got the recommend from here, I thought I'd let you guys know.  I was half way into The Workshop and took a little break to read some other stuff.  When I went back to it, it had completely disappeared, so I'm guessing it was pulled.  I went to check on Master of theUniverse, the other fic that was recommended to me, and it had a note stating it had been severely edited for content!!! She has, however, moved the entire story over to twilighted.net.  It's a sad state of affairs...

Yes - MoU is on Twilighted now. So is Edward Wallbanger & The Training.

Other ones to check out on Twilighted - I absolutely loved Nothing Left to Lose. It has that Buffy, Felicity, Veronnica Mars vibe.

Bella was a severely bullied kid in Forks & transfered in Middle school & comes back her senior year all grown up & ready for revenge. It's great b'c the characters are layered & nuanced but she doesn't over stuff the prose. It's nicely done.. subtle.

You end up thinking you like someone & then realize you really dislike them (maybe like Bill), or hating someone & then see their not so bad (maybe like Eric) & rooting for others you thought you'd never root for. At least I did.

I also am really liking Beautiful, Dirty, Rich.

Laid Bare (still on Fanfic) ,Breaking Trinity - both can be a bit melodramatic (Laid Bare less so) but Snarlward in BT is hot.  BT kind of keeps you on your toes which is fun.

Vampward in Laid Bare is pretty hot too. he's also extremely horny. It was great b'c the writer really expresses that intense passion between them.

And Full Dark was really very good. Very different. There was one section of the story that completely hooked me - I couldn't stop reading it. It's what to read if you didn't like Breaking Dawn for sure.

And don't forget With Teeth. I am still loving that. That keeps rolling along. It's so bittersweet & extremely well written w/out being excessive. A case of less is more being best.

Has anyone read The Billionaire Bum I just started it and I'm loving it.

Summary:

I am also reading  Loner .  I am SO loving this story. Edward is so wounded. But I love him so. And I really like the Bella as well. Really great story.

Hot damn this Carlisle is cool as hell. I love a grown ass man who knows what he wants & acts like an adult. He's pretty suave & a little adorable. Oh yeah & Edward? Her one night stand - yeah that's his son. Oops.

• I thought this one might be cheesy bc of the title but it's really sweet so far & a little hot.  Don't You Wanna Take Ride with Me?

Bella has been lusting after her hot Spin instructor but is too nice a girl to do anything about it. He's not plus it turns out he's her boss son.

A hot Snarlward. A little OTT in the drama/angst but I completely got into it. Steamy. I like the premise - Bella moves back to Forks & her BF - Jessica Stanley takes her to her 1st local party. Bella has an crazy encounter when she stumbles into another room to get some air. A bit of an obsession begins.

• This one was really interesting: Bonne Foi -

Ed is a vamp & he is a loner & out of touch w/his human emotions. He usually kills his prey. He stumbles upon awkward college student Bella & plans to kill her. Instead he kind of unwittingly starts a realtionship with her & is completely unaware of his burgeoning feelings. Kind cool.

• This one surprised me too. I thought it was very funny in a snarky way & has one of my favorite James.:I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked. -

Edward is a douche & top dog at school. New girl Bella is a goth girl bitch. She aims to make Edward hers & vice Versa except when the games begin - one of them can't handle it. James is Bella's BF from AZ. He is a gorgeous blue eyed, blond Goth. Edward calls him "Gothken". B'c he looks like a Goth Ken Doll. It makes me chuckle every time he uses it.

• Beautiful, Dirty, Rich -

Bored, slutty rich kids but funnily enough I actually liked them & the story a lot. I thought I would hate the characters. Good fun.

This one hasn't been rec'd on here yet. It's a good little romantic comedy. It has Edward as a manny (male nanny) to Bella's kids.

Eight Days A Week

Laura - I didn't think I would like the characters in BDR either. I didn't think I would be able to relate in any way to slutty rich teenagers. But, surprisingly, it's a good story and the characters are deeper than you think.

Ok, I am done is FF SMV for a while. (All my authors just posted updates, and I will have to wait another week or so for more). I am not really into these human stories that seem to be such favorties on FF. Help, any suggestion would be welcomed. I only have 12 more days left of this tax season, and reading has what gotten me throw this years season. Thanks for helping me out.

I'm sure some of you have already read this one. It's old. Since New Moon has been out for a while now and finally released in DVD/ITUNES/BLU RAY, it's like a refresher. This one is written in canon but from Edward's point of view of New Moon. Since there isn't really much of Edward in New Moon, the author had to improvise but did an excellent job IMO.

It has one of my fave Edwards now (the list is growing!).

It is truly sweet but hilarious. I genuinely laughed out loud - a lot. The author was great with her characters delivery. Sly & snarky. Kind of dry & even stupid in a very smart, witty way.

Edward becomes a Manny for a yuppie Bella with 2 kids. Best Nanny/Manny story yet, IMO. I just loved the charm & humor.

She just updated today & it is amazingly BRILLIANT!  The metaphor/analogy she uses is just so sweet & dang clever.

God! Some of these authors are just SO talented hat I hope they eventually get published & put original work out there!

This story is pure magic. If it doesn't charm the pants off you, I would be stunned.

Wonderous, lovely, hilarious, heartwarming & not an ounce of pretense. She (m81170)  makes it all seem so effortless. I feel like I am kind of watching The Wonder Years or A Christmas Story. The story is just solid all the way around.

Really, it deserves every ounce of attention it gets.

I love the idea of Jasper as a leading man.  He was my favorite character in Twilight and didn't get nearly enough recognition (IMO).  If you read these, I guarantee you will fall in love with him and never look at Edward the same again.

So if anyone reads Twi fic I just have to recommend two I read recently which where, IMO, definitely in their own league.

Both  evolved, mature writing. With wonderful gorgeous prose & characters who get under your skin & you think about afterward (well I did) & both were 1st time FF writers. I could....not... believe. It. Both incredibly intelligent & insightful.

The 1st is The Blessing & The Curse by the Black Arrow.

This was just stunning to me. The fact that this is her 1st & only Fanfic? Wow. Just wow.

This ..this is a love story but more than that, it is about everything. Life, Death, Love, Rebirth, loss but mainly, love & the many guises of it.  It's Wuthering Heights but taken to the different level. That's the map but it's not the case.

It's written in the 3rd person which was fabulous & the way she revealed the complexity of Edward & Bella's relationship is so, so intense b'c the perspective of each character has been warped since childhood therefore,  neither of them can truly see where the other is coming from & there is a lot of fear there. Anyway, this is unlike anything I've read. She could publish this in it's own right. I started it & could not put it down. I think I read until 4am & then as soon as I woke, rolled over & started it again. The way the author so succinctly crafted her world with the words she chose was beautifully profound. I cried my frickin' eyes out.  It's special.

If you like reading Twific, do yourself a favor & read this. I promise you, it's a beauty.

Neverending Math Equation by twanza

Don't let the name fool you. This is a love triangle story between Edward, Bella & Jasper. All 3 very strong characters in their own right who are intensely likable, intelligent & vulnerable. Twanza really captures the whole NYC, Brooklyn vibe so well. She paints a really strong picture of this world w/out ever overindulging.

Edward is a young, musical prodigy escaping his father's thumb & trying to find his way . Bella is a Brooklyn girl who runs her family bakery after her father's death. Jasper is her best friend, neighbor & Edwards long lost older brother. Twanza has really, really thought about her characters & it shows. She completely knows their motivations, what inspires them & makes them run for the hills. She also has a very discerning musical ear & incorporates it into her story  without shoving it down your throat. Although I highly recommend you check them out b'c they do have meaning. Esp. the final song in the final chapter.

I found this one very real. The characterizations...I could understand each person motivations..their choices...it was good. Really good. Take out the names Edward, Bella & Jasper & insert maybe some people you know. I just adored this one. Again, very mature writing but also very subtle. Layered. There is a lot of nuance there the author is hoping you'll pick up, which she weaves in. And I adore this Edward. He is solid gold & just breaks your heart b'c of it. He's a little trier & you can't fault him for that.

I thought it was wonderful. Incredibly strong. And again...1st time writing.

I just finished writing a Jasper/Bella story on FF... It's called, "True Hearts and Truly Home" It's got some supernatural stuff in it, if you are into that type of story!

Burning Down Atlanta is a really good Vampire Diaries fanfic that I'm reading. It picks up following the end of Season 2 and attempts to go canon with a What might happen story. Very engaging and humorous. And I'm not just saying that because my sister's writing it.
