I think that is almost more a spoiler for the future books than the show. Kind of makes sense with the next book being titled Dead Reckoning.

    2010-08-04 18:14:59.0

Do you think CH is giving advanced copies of Book 11 to the TB Cast? I think to AB she definitely does, coz they're BFFs, haha.

    2010-08-04 20:48:59.0

I didn't think the interview was a spoiler for the books, since they were referring to DITF. I don't think that she will give an advanced copy of book 11 to AB because he has a big mouth.

    2010-08-04 20:51:45.0

AB because he has a big mouth

LOL! I imagine so. He keeps on giving away spoilers for his own series.

I wonder up to what season TB will last.

    2010-08-04 20:57:48.0

And he told the world that CH had wanted to kill off Bill in DAG, but she had to be talked out of it. This really removed Bill from the HEA sweepstakes.

    2010-08-04 21:26:02.0

I didn't think the interview was a spoiler for the books, since they were referring to DITF.

AP, I meant that since he had talked with CH regarding Alcide's arc that that could be insight into what will happen next and where she wants to take him as a character.

    2010-08-04 21:30:21.0

I don't think what's happening in the books at this point is going to have any effect at all on TB.

    2010-08-04 21:54:05.0

Just because you're decided that right? I think that Joe asked CH for the insight, because it always helps to have another angle on a character. The discussion was what JM wanted to know, not whether books 10 & 11 will have an impact on the show. And how can you know what influence those books would have on the show, anyway? TB isn't that far along yet. But there could be elements that show up since AB is accelerating plot elements. For a certain extent the way RE is grabbing power for himself is reminiscent of FDC or PT.

    2010-08-04 22:02:17.0

Ok, so I am still surfing for more TB tid-bits and found 3 interviews with Denis O'Hare (RE), Kristin Baurer (Pam), Charlaine Harris & Rutina Wesley (Tara).  The Denis O'Hare interview is great (love him) and there's a tiny spoiler about the 10th epi.  Kristin is great as usual she says we will see more of her & Eric's relationship and wait till we see her jammies!  LOL  Feel free to skip Rutina's!

    2010-08-05 00:17:57.0

AP, I agree that he'll mine the books for plot points, but the last two seasons have been so far removed from the actual plots of the books, that to expect certain scenes or even total plot lines to survive the TB writer's room is asking to be disappointed.  There are scenes I would love to see "Bowling for Vampires" comes to mind....but I don't think we'll ever get them.

I'm really impressed that Joe seems to have read the books and have a grasp on his character, even though I think he comes off much nicer and less selfish than Alcide ever did in the books.

    2010-08-05 16:42:53.0

So she is gonna swear off vampires.  Not gonna happen.  Hahahahaha.

    2010-08-05 16:46:53.0

Wow, sounds like nothing much happens between the last episode & the finale.

    2010-08-05 16:54:58.0

I know. At first I thought this was for next week. Maybe Eric regrets killing Talbot since he was relatively harmless and somewhat innocent of RE's evil.

    2010-08-05 16:56:51.0

Well, that would be consistent with the progression of this show and this season. About an hour each Sunday, nothing much happens.

Maybe Eric is torn between what he should do as a sheriff and a vampire and what he owes his family.

    2010-08-05 16:59:26.0

I think Jesus is a witch. Not Jesus Jesus but Gay Jesus.

    2010-08-05 17:06:33.0

I think he is either a witch or a half-demon. If he's a witch he practices Santeria.

The reason I thought demon was how fast he moved when Lafayette was fighting the brother-cousins. And that would make his name more ironic.

    2010-08-05 17:10:51.0

Do you think he is the one that is going to put the spell on Eric? (Amnesia for next season)

    2010-08-05 17:14:14.0

Oh AP that is a good idea.  And OMG, I could see it as a possibility in AB land.  Of course, would he then negate the were-witch angle?  Or is Jesus' a were?  And why would he want to curse Eric?  Eric made Laf sell V, but he did not make him a drug dealer.

    2010-08-05 17:20:15.0

Jesus is definitely not just a mere mortal.

    2010-08-05 17:45:34.0
    DiB

Jesus is definitely not just a mere mortal.

Yup. It was the comment about his mother being raped and him being the result that made me think that. Maybe a coincidence but I thought of  Quinn's sister's storyline.

    2010-08-05 18:31:08.0

I totally missed that. But I think that Jesus will see Eric making Lafayette sell V but not see that Lafayette being an "entrepreneur" since he could walk.

    2010-08-05 18:44:27.0

I really hope it is not Jesus who does Eric in, especially since he should be able to stop selling the V now that Sophie Anne is taken care of.  And even in the show Eric didn't like the whole selling/taking V thing.

    2010-08-05 20:27:37.0

Thanks for the link VampGirl!  I got chills when Alcide brushed Sookies hair with his hand!  Yumm!

    2010-08-06 01:28:57.0

I'm getting chills just looking at that viking in that throne!  Makes me wish I could pole dance!!

    2010-08-06 10:08:17.0

seeing the viking and the poledancer... one thing has been bugging me ever since his daydream.

Excuse me pls if this has been discussed before, but what is he saying to her after she asks him 'want more?'

I'm no native speaker, but i could swear he says: The bill please. BILL? Why would he pay? Even more so in his own club? While noone is really there even...?

    2010-08-06 10:15:45.0

    He say's "That'll be all."

    2010-08-06 10:35:43.0

Ahh thank you! That has been bugging me for some time... I feel a bit stupid nowEmbarassed

    2010-08-06 11:39:37.0

The witch angle/amnesia eric: so we have a few players -

Jesus (who I think is a good witch, though, because he is against V and warns Lafayette against powerful bad energy in one of the season 3 promos/voiceovers, takes care of the sick, etc.),

Holly - who has recently been cast - a witch in the book, right? The one who is kidnapped by Hallow as a decoy?

And we still do not know if Yvetta is a plant, a pole dancer, or a booby-trapped witch.

    2010-08-06 15:29:50.0

I like your thinking Lala. Maybe Jesus saves him from the witches yet to come.

    2010-08-06 16:00:31.0

@omg224: I hope so. Some good majik to work against the dark majik:)

    2010-08-06 17:44:12.0

Yvetta is a plant, a pole dancer, or a booby-trapped witch.

*snort* sorry to be so silly, but I couldn't help it  *giggle*  "Booby-trapped" would be the perfect description for Yvetta!  lol  (so sorry, still giggling ... I think I'm a little punchy)

    2010-08-06 22:49:32.0

    Yeah, her boobies are booby-trappedLaughing

    2010-08-06 23:50:42.0

Wow! Though, she hasn't been getting much of Eric's time.  I mean he was daydreaming while she was snaking around the pole.  That is how you piss a woman off.  Yvetta could be an awesome angle.:)

    2010-08-06 23:58:11.0

You're welcome, Susan. I'm really hoping more chemistry will build up between Sookie and Alcide. I'd prefer him over Bill, if she doesn't want Eric.

AS sure can stare...If I were Yvetta I'll be snaking him up, not the pole, LOL!

Yvetta might be Hallow in AB Land! Yey! On to Season 4 already!

    2010-08-07 02:20:41.0

LOL.  I know that AP doesn't look it but our book Eric prefers more voluptuous women and AP and Yvetta are emaciated.

    2010-08-07 13:32:33.0

I don't know--I kind of feel like AP is one of the more healthier looking actresses right now. It is true she's quite a bit smaller than Sookie is written in the books, but I don't think she looks starving by any means.

    2010-08-07 16:23:34.0

I think Dallas was being sarcastic with the "emaciated" comment. Both actresses are thin, but they do not look like they are suffering from anorexia by any means.

If you've seen KB...that's what emaciated looks like.

    2010-08-07 16:30:18.0

Ahhhh....sarcasm doesn't always translate well in text. Sorry!

    2010-08-07 16:32:22.0

I love Kristin! She's not the Pam I had imagined, but she is still wonderful. Very beautiful pic!

    2010-08-07 16:38:26.0

    2010-08-07 16:38:26.0

I was being sarcastic. She really isn't that skinny.  Did you know that a size 9 is now considered plus size in America?  I am no size 9, LOL won't go there, but my Eric likes women with meat on their bones.  LOL ;)

    2010-08-07 22:27:12.0

Did you know that a size 9 is now considered plus size in America?

      Wow, I didn't know that.

    2010-08-07 22:33:45.0

I didn't know SM has two kids.

Yep, and he was with their mommy up until he met Anna Paquin.    Which give me the shivers but I guess that's Hollywood.

    2010-08-07 22:46:53.0

Did you know that a size 9 is now considered plus size in America?

Great, then I am officially the size of 2 plus size women put together.   That makes me so mad that I am going to go eat some twinkies.

    2010-08-07 22:48:13.0

Great, then I am officially the size of 2 plus size women put together.   That makes me so mad that I am going to go eat some twinkies.

Kim, you are not alone girl me too.  I am soo  self conscious all the time because of not being skinny.  When I moved to Arkansas with my husband I found that most men down here like bigger girls.  I went to a job shadow a couple of weeks ago and overheard a little boy whisper that I had a "donk".  Took me a while to make sure that wasn't a  bad thing. LOL

    2010-08-07 22:51:03.0

Which give me the shivers but I guess that's Hollywood.

It certainly is.  From Eddie Fischer (left Debbie Reynolds and kids for Elizabeth Taylor) to Brad Pitt, it goes on and on and on and on...

    2010-08-07 23:17:54.0

Are you sure about SM leaving his wife for AP?  I thought I read somewhere that he was divorced or separated at the time and since divorced I can't remember now?

    2010-08-08 00:55:10.0

yeah...he started to date Anna when he was with his partener and mother of one of his children.....they split after a whie.

Sookie from the books is a size 10...i'm happy about that XD

    2010-08-08 13:13:49.0

Thanks for the link...good article.  Now I know.

    2010-08-08 18:01:26.0

Guys. Remember all the times that I mention the Blu-ray extras, HBO is pairing them with the S2 episode info online.

    2010-08-09 18:39:24.0

I don't see how Eric has managed to convince RE that he didn't kill Talbot. Otherwise, why won't RE just kill Eric in revenge? I'm glad to see RE back next year since O'Hare is terrific.

    2010-08-13 03:10:21.0

The way I perceived it was it was left open ended so that he could return doesn't mean he will.

Yeah, I can't see Eric pulling that off either.  So maybe this has to do with that pic we saw of Bill & Eric & the cement truck.  Also, I read somewhere that it is Sookie that saves Eric by wrapping chains around RE.  So taking those two tidbits Sookie chains RE and Bill & Eric bury him alive and seal him in cement.  Thereby leaving it open ended for him to return in the future.

That truly would be cool as I love O'Hare's RE.

    2010-08-13 10:01:22.0

I just realized that in that hot dream scene we all love Eric never lets his fangs come out. I think this is both forshadowing and sweet. I'm hoping that since Sookie is not liking the whole being the gf of a vamp at the end of this season that when they do hook up he doesn't bite her. Then she can ask why he didn't and his answer can really change her opinion of him. He would say something charming like he always does in the books. Le sigh.

    2010-08-13 10:32:34.0

Don't forget about the other dream after Godric meets the sun...he does bite her. Both of those dreams were Sookies.  The fantasy he had of her he never bared his fangs.  I would love it too if he didn't and hope you are right.

    2010-08-13 12:24:06.0

i saw that many here didn't read tv guide with Spoiler from upcoming episode, with many statements from Steve, Anna, and Alex which are very good!!

Alexander: "Fear not team Eric, It’s all part of a bigger plan, reveals Skarsgård “He pretends he is not, but he is definitely concerned and he cares for her. And that’s tough for him to admit that she means a lot to him.” Sookie’s not exactly impartial. Says Paquin, “With Eric, there are a lot of feelings. Under all that anger toward him there is also a lot of passion.”
Maddeningly for Eric fans, that lust has only been consummated in dreams sequences. Ball promises that will soon change. “We’ll see Eric and Sookie together and it will be real. It’s nobody’s dreams, and it’s nobody’s fantasy. But I’m not saying how both of them react.”

I let you the link here there is more http://www.trueblood-italy.com/?p=1029 (click to enlarge the pics) or here http://www.trueblood-italy.com/?p=1025

    2010-08-13 16:36:50.0

Thx so much Mony!! That article really gave me some hope back. Although AB could always hint at S4 for the S/E action... he didn't really say it's in S3.

I wonder about Lafayette and his hidden talents, as well as the hint at Sam starting to drink. *sigh* I liked both characters just fine, why add those two traits? Sam is always so stable and selfassured, drinking doesn't fit him. And Lafayette a witch? Maybe it'll be him that'll take revenge at Eric for torturing him??

    2010-08-13 17:53:49.0

He would say something charming like he always does in the books. Le sigh.

Charming? I don't think any of the TB writers has 'charming' mastered. They may not understand the concept

    2010-08-13 18:49:08.0

This was in the TV guide I got this week.   A chance to walk in the sun maybe?

    2010-08-13 19:47:06.0

I'm not sure if anyone else has posted this yet and I don't know if this is the right thread, so I'm sticking it here.  I saw this episode of Jessica's Blog tonight and thought it was delightful.  That Pam.

    2010-08-14 00:09:12.0

(Hmm... I didn't know that slap bracelets were back in style.)

    2010-08-14 00:15:08.0

KB as Pam is the bomb!

    2010-08-14 07:54:44.0

Isn't she though. A perfect Pam, probably the truest character translation from the books. And she has perfect delivery too. She has the best role on the show. Although AS, has the most complex role.

    2010-08-14 16:30:15.0

Yes, she is perfect - I had such pleasure watching that video.

    2010-08-14 17:04:28.0

I want her freaking dress. LOL

Sookie is still speaking Dumb ass about normal couples but she does look freshly showered and Bill is dry, so maybe the hand is a dream of hers?  Also, why the hell is he letting her help with the weres body?  He is a freaking vampire that probably just drained two or three of them and the human girl is helping him hoist a body?  At least they still seem pissy with each other, is that something to cling to?

    2010-08-14 18:25:44.0

i think the video is also on the episode 9's thread from youtube....i hope it's not Bill in the shower....really really really hope!!!

    2010-08-14 19:25:11.0

What’s Eric’s relationship like this year with Anna Paquin’s psychic Sookie Stackhouse? Skarsgard doesn’t want to give too much away. “Well, you know, it’s a long season, so there’s a lot going on. For now, with what we’re shooting right now, he’s very kind of preoccupied with this dungeon. But of course, Sookie’s always in his mind. She’s in his head and he’s still intrigued by her and that’s definitely something he will pursue in future.”

    From http://blog.buzzymultimedia.com/alexander-skarsgard-interview/

This is really hinting that we have to wait for Season 4 to get some S/E action.

    2010-08-14 21:52:58.0

Even if it is next season, I can't wait to see how they do the scene where Sookie realizes that Eric is hot, and has to do something with him.  LOL  In the book she caught him undressing, in AB world, Bill will probably be over to check on Sookeh and preach the evils of Eric and he will walk in the room and Bill will gulp as well and Sookie will think that if Bill likes that then she should too since Bill is so smahrt and all.

    2010-08-14 21:58:20.0

She's already seen all there is too see with Eric. And she barely gave that a moment's notice. Just the fact that Eric's butt doesn't sag like Bill's should have been enough (even ignoring the dimples). But she then got a good look at the GP on full alert (however, wet it might have been).

    2010-08-14 22:05:14.0

Yeah but she was on full "Where's Beeyull" mode too.  If she is ever able to get pissed at him she might see something else.  When I first met my husband as a dorky college boy it was like yeah no.  But then one day he was leaning on a tree looking all hot and I was hooked.  LOL

She did have a small slip though when she realized that he had been at it for six hours.  LOL  I guess Bill is a wham, bam, thank you ma'am type.

    2010-08-14 22:06:36.0

    Has anyone seen this yet?

    Spoiler for the finale...

“Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) grapples with his conscience while plotting his perfect revenge against Russell (Denis O’Hare). Fed up with being “vampire crack,” Sookie (Anna Paquin) considers a new life without Bill (Stephen Moyer)—or any other vampire.  Tara (Rutina Wesley) discovers some surprising news about Sam (Sam Trammell), whose rage resurfaces upon learning of Tommy’s (Marshall Allan) latest transgression.      Source: http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/08/05/true-blood-season-finale-spoiler-alert/

So Eric grapples with his consciencem huh? I really hope that doesn't mean he'll rat out Sookie some more for his revenge... that would be 180 degree from book 3 Undecided

    2010-08-15 10:35:22.0

I've just voted, I'm glad Eric is first by a long shot:))

    2010-08-15 14:04:42.0

hat’s Eric’s relationship like this year with Anna Paquin’s psychic Sookie Stackhouse?

I'm so sleep deprived I read this at first as "psycho Sookie Stackhouse" and I was like "hm, a little harsh, but okay, I can see it" LOL

    2010-08-15 15:39:28.0

Even if it is next season, I can't wait to see how they do the scene where Sookie realizes that Eric is hot

You mean the episode where Sam tells her Obama came through, she has health coverage and she goes to the optometrist at long last?

    2010-08-15 15:40:47.0

Bill will probably be over to check on Sookeh and preach the evils of Eric and he will walk in the room and Bill will gulp as well and Sookie will think that if Bill likes that then she should too since Bill is so smahrt and all.

okay, is this slash? or vampwich? I swear I need a remedial class....

    2010-08-15 15:41:46.0

ust the fact that Eric's butt doesn't sag like Bill's should have been enough (even ignoring the dimples). But she then got a good look at the GP on full alert (however, wet it might have been).

wow, I got nothing. Judy, I'm speechless. ohmigod, wet?

    2010-08-15 15:43:10.0

and how can anyone ignore the dimples? Tongue out or the GP? Surprised

    2010-08-15 15:47:05.0

okay, is this slash? or vampwich? I swear I need a remedial class....

Oh no, Mari.  No slash with Bill and Eric, yuck no, no, no.  LOL  I am just saying that  Sookeh is such a dumb ass that if Bill didn't show her the huge tub of stakes(that coincidentally existed on a vampires land???wtf?) she wouldn't know that stakes can kill a vampire.  And she won't realize that Eric is sex on a very tall, very blond, very hot fucking stick until Bill lets her know that as well.  LOL.

    2010-08-15 22:43:42.0

Oh Dallas, was it as horrible watching it as it seemed reading everyone's comments? Mony's was crying! I am glad I stopped watching 3 weeks ago - I've gradually removed myself emotionally from the story. I get very attached and then I feel very betrayed. I love the books too much and I didn't want the stupid show ruining it. I would actually love to stop writing the Kill Bill story - b/c it would mean it was no longer needed! UGH. FrownCry

    2010-08-15 23:00:11.0

    Mari,

Actually no.  As far as the episodes have gone it was my favorite so far and I know that someone will probably want to kill me.  LOL  It was Eric heavy and the promo shows Eric outing Bill and being intensely sweet with Sookie so I am keeping the faith.

    2010-08-15 23:04:46.0

    I am keeping the faith.

    FIngers crossed. Thank you. Whew!

I've just voted, I'm glad Eric is first by a long shot:))

I did, too! Sure hope AB should be slapped in the face by this poll.

and how can anyone ignore the dimples? Tongue out or the GP? Surprised

And how wet it was, per AP!!!

Dallas, I'm with you, even if I haven't watched it yet. I have a good feeling that this Episode will be the turning point of the season.

    2010-08-16 05:20:05.0

Has anyone seen the new post mortem yet?  I can't seem to find it.

    2010-08-16 10:18:11.0

maybe it's not the right place but i don't know where to post this.

Anna Paquin has hinted True Blood will continue until at least 2015

The star has told an Australian mag how she is looking forward to spending the next five years with the hit TV show’s cast and crew.

The 28-year-old Oscar winner said: “I can’t think of a group of people that I would rather spend the next five years of my life with. It’s just a dream come true as an actor.”

But the star is still mystified as to why people are so fascinated with vampires. “Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they’re often very sexy – and kind of dangerous,” she said.

The New Zealander also tells Famous magazine season three of the series is definitely the sexiest so far.

Anna, who is engaged to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, added: “It’s been full of weird, kinky vampire sex from the very beginning, so I’m kind of used to it by now.”

But the star is still mystified as to why people are so fascinated with vampires. “Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they’re often very sexy – and kind of dangerous,” she said.

This is the reason why she can't portray her character well. Imagine playing a role of three years and she still doesn't get it.

    2010-08-16 19:42:41.0

She also can't count. So unless they've been given new contracts beyond 7 years (which doesn't seem likely), there are only 4 more seasons.

    2010-08-16 19:44:38.0

That one picture with Bill, the face he's making while cutting his fingers to heal Sookie's bite marks, is how I see him as a character. Painful and stupid.

    2010-08-17 00:38:31.0

    LOL!!  Love it, Judy!

Mary, thanks for posting.  That whole thing is just freakin' hysterical!  Loved this:

After the bloody sex shower Sookie and Bill head downstairs. Maybe now they will go look for Bill's responsibility, Jessica, who was almost killed by the King Vampire and a werewolf last week. Nope? Tidying up Sookie's house takes top priority...well, after hate sex and then a shower, of course. Bill, your vampire parenting skills leave much to be desired.

Too right!  Doesn't he think that perhaps checking up on his progeny might be a good thing to do?  Bill, YOU SUCK!!!

    2010-08-17 00:47:26.0

    also this:

Sam walks into his brothers naked party and asks him if he's high? This is what you ask him? How about, "Hey. Could you stop waving your pubes at me?"

wish I knew how to copy and paste the picture, because this one is pretty priceless!  lmao

    2010-08-17 00:48:48.0

    Here ya go!

    2010-08-17 00:50:21.0

Just love RE with the glitter   I still forget how to copy and paste

    2010-08-17 00:50:32.0

Love it.  thanks for the picture

    2010-08-17 00:57:39.0

    You're welcome!

    2010-08-17 00:59:41.0

this is great.  I can go to bed now laughing. good  night

    2010-08-17 01:06:31.0

"Maybe they go look for Bill's responsibility, Jessica". Nope Bill is a shitty Dad. Too bad he isn't reported to vampire social services for his lack of parenting skills. Love the RE picture! That's a whole lot of bling! Thanks

    2010-08-17 01:16:59.0

On e-online they twitted that there are some spoilers but snce i'n not in USA i cannot open the page...anybody here have read something?

Also note he's fanging his middle finger and heals Sookie with his pointer finger. Continuity, anyone?

    2010-08-17 09:57:58.0

    Continuity, anyone?

After having their hardcore porn-break-up-make-up sex, Sookie might have some tearings inside. He will be using his middle finger to heal them. Just like in Book 1, when she got "deflowered" by Bill.

    2010-08-17 13:16:15.0

Oh, Jeez, Karla!  I don't even want to think about that all that closely!!  *shudder*  Wink

    2010-08-17 13:30:30.0

Hahaha! I was just trying to direct the scene using AB's POV, Liann. Eeew, isn't it?

    2010-08-17 13:33:52.0

Definitely Eeeeeeew!  Totally got what you were saying; just kidding ya!  Smile

    2010-08-17 13:41:52.0

Anna Paquin has hinted True Blood will continue until at least 2015

I don't think I'll be tuning in that long. That's really ambitious.

But the star is still mystified as to why people are so fascinated with vampires. “Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they’re often very sexy – and kind of dangerous,” she said.

Seriously? She doesn't get it yet? God she is annoying. Supposedly she's a smart gal. Take a poll & figure it out.

Sexy & Kind of dangerous?? Maybe she is channeling Sookie.

    Painful and stupid.

Oh God I hated when he did this! It was so awkward looking. This is part of the reason why he grossed me out here. That & they way he greedily sucked on her open wound....again.

It looked like he was having a fangache...maybe Sookie is a Robot & he bit into some metal?

    2010-08-17 14:20:15.0

LOL, Karla and Liann.  I was reading your comments during a 2-hour-long meeting at work and struggled to keep a straight face and stifle my laughter.  I did not manage to pull it off convincingly.  However, aren't you glad we didn't get that scene from the first book on the show.  Yuck.

    2010-08-17 16:32:32.0

LOL, Pey! At least you had us taking your mind off a very looooong meeting. Laughing

And, yes, I was so relieved that looking back at TB season 1, AB didn't include it there. That would be a big turn off. Maybe a turn on to others. Gack!

    2010-08-17 20:14:34.0

It looked like he was having a fangache...

    Holy Cow, that is hysterical!

I know right?  When Eric bites into his wrist(ie feeding Hadley) he doesn't squint and grunt like he is giving birth or something. But Beeyull pricks his finger and acts like it is the worst pain ever.  YOU DRAINED ALL OF HER BLOOD YOU BITCH, and biting your finger is hard for you?

    2010-08-17 21:55:36.0

lol, Dallas, I think I got an idea bunny for emo-Bill! Thanks!

Season Finale Spoilers from Rolling Stones article

“On a recent day on the set, Eric Northman…..is drenched in blood, along with his raspy-voiced lesbian sidekick, whom he turned vampire a century ago. Another vampire sits in the corner, tied up in silver chains, his face burned off. One more had been reduced to liquid and poured into a gigantic glass goblet, which rest on the bar. ”

“Even Paquin has a bit of blood on her wirst.”

    2010-08-18 20:02:33.0

I still think Eric asks Sookie, I think she is doing this for him.

    2010-08-19 03:26:19.0

He did because she would be screaming otherwise. She loves to scream lol.

    2010-08-19 11:39:27.0

So Sookie's blood is the "ultimate vampire dream." Coz it can make them walk in the sun, after a number of pints, I guess.

This is a huge indication of trust. Unless AB will show that Eric forced Sookie to do this, of course.

    2010-08-19 11:58:59.0

    2010-08-19 13:25:48.0

Thanks for posting the spoiler Beatrice!  I agree that it is apparently part of Eric's plan selling RE on "the ultimate Vampire dream". As many have speculated on the threads that it would be to "walk in the sun".  Sookie is doing it willingly otherwise like Chelsea said she would be screaming.  Awesome spoiler!

    2010-08-19 16:20:06.0

Exactly, you gals are right, Sookie would be squealing like a pig on its way to a slaughter house!!

    2010-08-19 16:22:39.0

I can't see Eric forcing her she stands to gain also by helping Eric get rid of RE after all he's after her too.  And now that she knows that Hunter is like her she probably will do it in part to avert any danger from him as well.

    2010-08-19 16:22:44.0

Here is my BIG question....What about SA?  She will still be after Sookie unless something is done about that.  Unless she is in collusion with them to get rid of RE and strikes a deal to leave Sookie alone.  Any thoughts on this?

    2010-08-19 16:25:23.0

Here is my BIG question....What about SA?  She will still be after Sookie unless something is done about that.  Unless she is in collusion with them to get rid of RE and strikes a deal to leave Sookie alone.  Any thoughts on this?

This is pure speculation, but didn't some spoiler state that Eric and Pam are coated in blood in this scene where some vamp (RE??) is chained up in silver. It could be his blood, but maybe some vamp staking took place beforehand. I hope it's not SA, i'd like to have her around still, but it could be her? (Totally OT, but i wanted to share this with you: read on some horrible celebrity gossip site that ERW broke off her engagement with Marilyn Manson the 2nd time now. Who can blame the girl when she's confronted with her magnificant ex every day on set?;) )

    2010-08-19 16:38:48.0

I wouldn't think they would kill off two Royals.  But who knows in ABland.

I can't believe she was with him in the first place!  EEWWW!

    2010-08-19 17:48:09.0

hi everyone...so rolling stone is featuring true blood on the cover on the sept 2nd issue...i haven't seen it mentioned so i thought i'd share the link... http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/news/17389/191809

i don't know how to post pictures, but there are a few pics that are worth checking out. :)

    2010-08-20 12:55:23.0

There really isn't nothing much going on here, but it seems like Bill and Eric are discussing something. Maybe after RE was buried in cement?

    2010-08-20 14:01:31.0

Karla, thanks for linking that interview with Kristin Bauer (von Straten).  It always sounds like she has a great relationship with Alex, fun and playful like the relationship between Eric and Pam.

    2010-08-20 20:40:53.0

Ok, that video is like watching paint dry... or maybe in this case, it's like watching cement dry.XP

    2010-08-20 21:10:05.0

they're actually talking to someone in the hole, I wonder if it's RE or a cameraman maybe...

    2010-08-21 02:47:11.0

I listened to this video on another site and you can hear Eric yell something like "Think about what you've done!"

    2010-08-21 02:50:10.0

You know RE said in an interview that he will get his revenge on Eric for killing Talbot, have we speculated on how yet? I have no thoughts on this one!

    2010-08-21 02:54:08.0

Maybe the amnesia. I can't think of anything else.

    2010-08-21 02:59:39.0

No problem, Pey! I love KB.

AB was hinting there would be a marriage. I wonder if RE and SA's would push through if he's gonna be married in cement?

Maybe the amnesia. I can't think of anything else.

Me too, but what would RE get out of it, I wonder? Why not kill Sookie instead?

    2010-08-21 10:27:58.0

Well... it could be a little farfetches, but maybe RE speculates on Eris killing Sookie himself. If he'd do that and afterwards remember, wouldn't it be the most horrible revenge?

    2010-08-21 10:34:18.0

Not far-fetched in AB's world Silke! That's a great idea.

    2010-08-21 10:46:02.0

The magnitude of things that AB could screw up is really frightening Sealed If season 4 goes wrong, i'm so over TB...

    2010-08-21 11:12:10.0

I keep holding on, hoping that AB will redeem himself with s4. In my more rational moments, I know that if he's already screwed so much up, then things aren't looking good for next season, but I am trying to remain positive. Besides, I loooove to look at AS! That's almost enough to keep me watching if things go badly next year.

    2010-08-21 11:15:36.0

Ok, that video is like watching paint dry... or maybe in this case, it's like watching cement dry.

    Your too funny...love it!!

    2010-08-21 15:39:42.0

I've been mostly enjoying this season, although they've now killed all but one of the new interesting characters. The Bill and Stoopie scenes are nausea inducing. And Sam's story still make me snore. I no longer hate Tara. I can see that Lala's storyline is going somewhere, but so far I don't care. There has been more Eric, but there is never enough.

    2010-08-22 20:55:13.0

Ok now I hate it. I take back everything I've said. I don't see how they turn things around in two episodes.

    2010-08-22 22:08:20.0

Judy, I've got zero expectations at this point. I seriously just don't care anymore. With that mindset, nothing disappoints me anymore. I already anticipate being disappointed, so when bullshit like this happens, I just shrug, watch the rest of the episode, and turn the channel. The books aren't even recognizable at this point. I'm completely over this show.

    2010-08-22 22:13:19.0

     I'm completely over this show.

    yeah....Frown

    2010-08-22 22:15:06.0

I know. I'm just such an idiot. I keep thinking that something has to happen to make AE believable, but it gets worse every time.

    2010-08-22 22:17:10.0

Ashley I am with you. Your post is my thoughts exactly. I don't even try reading into the eps anymore with the hope that AB will come through. He reminds me of RE now...a crazed madman destroying a wonderfully engaging book series and stomping all over the beautiful and moving love story that book Eric & Sookie brought us. No "lover" No "Gracious Plenty" ...No Pink spandex...NO flirty Eric & Sook humor..Every single pivotal E/S scene has been purposely either destroyed, given to Bill or just removed completely. I'll watch the rest of this season since I'm apparently a masochist. Though with each passing episode I feel less angry since it's completely expected now.

    2010-08-23 14:01:57.0

He reminds me of RE now...a crazed madman destroying a wonderfully engaging book series
LOL! But it's so true! I had such high hopes after the Season 2 dream sequence where Eric told Sookie "this is the Beginning".
More like this is the beginning of screwing up my favourite character and Sookie turning into a dumbass.

    2010-08-23 17:58:27.0

He reminds me of RE now...a crazed madman destroying a wonderfully engaging book series

Or in Talbot's words a weak man who likes being surrounded by sycophants..

    2010-08-23 19:11:24.0

    Oh I miss Talbot!

    2010-08-24 03:34:55.0

I totally understand what Ashley and Kelli are saying, but I'm with Judy.  I feel compelled to keep trying to find something that will make AE work next season.  I cling to the idea that AB is setting Bill up for a big fall.  He won't get rid of him - he's in love with him!  But that doesn't mean he will be with Sookie next season.  So I keep hoping and looking for evidence.  That's why I get so upset.  If I could just completely let it go, I wouldn't.  The only thing that got me through the Billshit scene - "Sookeh, you must trust me so I can protect you" - is by imagining "Oh No, Vampire Bill" taking his recycling to the local Piggly Wiggly and getting decapitated, or burned or mauled by a bear.  I find SM's portrayal of sincere Bill hysterically funny now!  It is so over the top bad, it has to be a choice to illustrate that it's an act.  Has to be.  Otherwise, SM is the worst actor on the planet!!!  He and AP would truly deserve each other then.

On another note, regarding AB's comment that the last shot of the season is nothing?  I'm thinking it's going to represent the start of Hallow's curse and Eric's amnesia.  Things will be going along tickety boo and just all of a sudden go black a la the Sopranos series ender.  Maybe she'll be talking to Eric in the office and then BAM - BLACK.

    2010-08-24 09:25:29.0

I'm with you here, Liann. I'm imagining the last scene to be like a black hole where we'll all be sucked in. The void will represent Eric's memory. It's all gone. Then on to Season 4!

    2010-08-24 09:59:17.0

Yup!  That's pretty much what I was seeing, too.  The question remains, will we want to go on to season 4, or will AB eff it up so badly we just want to quit?

    2010-08-24 10:12:52.0

I guess it depends on the last episode. *bites nails*

    2010-08-24 10:23:36.0

Oh snap!  I finally figured out where I knew him from.  He played MJ's nasty jock boyfriend in the first SpiderMan movie!!

    2010-08-24 13:01:30.0

    2010-08-24 20:29:29.0

RE will be a drag queen in the last episode?

    2010-08-24 21:46:38.0

Did you guys notice that Sookie is mean, and Eric is mean, and Pam is mean and they all hurt him deeply.  Um, there was no mention of Saint Beeyulll.  Hmmm? ;)

    2010-08-24 21:58:34.0

I am hoping its because Bill will be dead by the end of the Season. Eric will beat the shit out of him. I should write a fanfic instead. Sigh.

    2010-08-24 22:07:41.0

Karla, thanks for embedding the video.  Haven't checked Kristin in a while.

Did you guys notice that Sookie is mean, and Eric is mean, and Pam is mean and they all hurt him deeply.  Um, there was no mention of Saint Beeyulll.  Hmmm? ;)

Dallas, I did pick up on that: "Sookie gets mean and hurts me very deeply.  Eric gets mean and hurts me very deeply.  And even Pam gets a little mean to me, although she's nice at one point, and hurts me very deeply.  And I weep for joy at one point."

    2010-08-24 22:07:51.0

And I weep for joy at one point.

This was an ominous statement. Is this supposed to be Saint Beel again? Undecided

    2010-08-24 22:11:07.0

Maybe he sees Talbot, just before his final death?  Or is it because he's out in the sunlight.

    2010-08-24 22:11:20.0

The drag queen thing was silly fun.  I think he'll be encumbered, as he put it, with all the heavy burn makeup.  No easy feat to move around and act in all of that.  A bra and heels?  Now that's just fun!

    2010-08-24 22:12:40.0

Right, Liann. Because he's finally meeting his true death? Just like Godric? That he will be with Talbot again. I always relate questionable stuff to be anti-Eric = Bill.

And he says he usually does his own stuff! He's a great actor. It's not that easy for someone his age.

    2010-08-24 22:13:38.0

Oh, I think he's pretty fit.  Apparently he cycles everywhere in Brooklyn.  How old is he?  Prolly my age... lol

    2010-08-24 22:17:58.0

Just checked, I was pretty close.  He's two years older, so 48.

    2010-08-24 22:18:54.0

Gasp! I couldn't imagine you to be 46, Liann! No offense. I would love to be like you when I start my life at 40. With your humor, wit, and love of books and shows about vampires. Laughing

    2010-08-24 22:42:35.0

Oh, we come in all ages on here, Karla!  No offense taken.  My husband is 7 years younger than me, so I like to think that keeps me young.  Smile  I guess it operates in reverse for me.  I'm always a bit surprised when I find out that I'm chatting to someone who is in their early 20's or even teens.  The cool thing is that the interest in this stuff crosses all boundary lines, and a sense of humour is open to everyone!

    2010-08-24 23:27:55.0

The cool thing is that the interest in this stuff crosses all boundary lines, and a sense of humour is open to everyone!

True. And nobody gets offended or offends anyone by the slightest disagreements in opinions. Laughing

Here's an additional spoiler for the finale from Rolling Stone:

On a recent day on set, Eric Northman – played by Alexander Skarsgard – the 1,000-year-old vampire who hailed from the Nordic lands before he became a bar owner in Louisiana, is drenched in blood, along with his raspy-voiced lesbian sidekick, whom he turned into a vampire a century ago. Another vamp [Russell?] sits in a corner, tied up with silver chains, his face burned off. One more has been reduced to liquid and poured into a gigantic glass goblet, which rests on the bar [Talbot!]. Even Paquin has a bit of blood on her wrist. “My God,” drawls Ball, stomping around the set and looking at the carnage. “It’s the battle of the incredibly hot vampires.”

    2010-08-25 21:40:36.0

    2010-08-25 22:12:23.0

Is that a line from the show or is it just SM being witty again?!

    2010-08-26 10:45:59.0

    2010-08-26 12:00:06.0

Oh Good Lord!!  (referring to SM's comment in white that's on the picture)  I know that's what SM has to think as he's portraying the character.  An actor always has to see things from his characters' POV.  But how exactly is he protecting Sookie by not telling her he was sent by SA?  From the pain of realizing he's a lying rat bastard?!!!

    2010-08-26 12:06:20.0

Sometimes SM channelling of Bill gets old real fast!

    2010-08-26 12:27:10.0

His quote!  WTF SM?  Really, it is ALL to protect her?  I like SM and I even think he does a pretty good job of playing Bill( him and Stoopie together make me want to vomit...) but that quote.....  I want to scream but it is my lunch break and I might be heard.

    2010-08-26 14:11:38.0

"someone's future is being cemented" hahahaha!! Is that RE??? love the pun!

    2010-08-26 14:52:31.0

I think that's RE, Beatrice. "You can bet someone won't survive." I wonder who... I'm daydreaming it's Bill.

    2010-08-26 20:39:24.0

I just found this article as a link to the swoon worthy Birthday Spectacular on the AS post and I really liked the way this person thinks:

    What's up Bill?

"Someone's future will be cemented" - that reminds me of Han Solo in Star Wars when they froze him and then he was of course later released. haha. At least that's what I imagined when I saw that photo of the TB set and the cement truck.

I didn't know RE was gay.

I found that article sooo annoying.  "Could you comment on your gayness being gay?"  "Is it really great, being gay and all, to work with such hot guys?"  "What did you learn from playing Russell with Talbot about being gay?"  (I'm totally paraphrasing)   ARGH!  Could they have been more insulting?  I thought Denis O'Hare gave very open and very classy answers considering the condescending way they were asked.  Especially about his colleagues.  I knew I liked him!

Dallas, that "What's up Bill?" was great!  Really great points made.  Hope it all really is on purpose and will add up to something in the end.  Just hope it doesn't take too long.

OMG, yes!  I was wondering if the article was not in a gay advocate magazine. I am extremely liberal(so much so that I was "ordained" online at one time so that I could officiate over my sister's commitment ceremony) so I don't have a problem with homosexuality.  But this article was like one big, fat stereotype of gay men.  I kept thinking that O'hare was being interviewed by Big Gay Al from South Park.  But he did give classy answers that just smashed the stereotypes.  I love how he said that he plays both gay and straight characters and that the concept that a gay actor can not play a straight role was bullshit.  There have been many straight actors who have played gay characters that did not lisp it up and act a fool.  I know that Brokeback Mountain has almost been beat to death but Jake Gyllenhall and Heath Ledger were superb in that movie IMO. And I love that RE is not that effeminate, lispy stereotypical gay man that most shows seem to write.  He is just a guy in love--Crazy, crazy candy-jar urn carrying love.

    LOL

He is just a guy in love--Crazy, crazy candy-jar urn carrying love.

OMG, Dallas! You gave me such an idea! To keep things fresh on Kill Bill (1,001 is a lot) I have to keep up with "guest vamps" - one of my reviews had this expression and its just cracked me up. Maybe the best indicator for Russell's Form of Crazy is he actually is carrying around Talbot's goopy remains in a candy jar? LOL! What do you think? Nothing says crazy like a candy jar filled with goopy vamp remains, huh?

    2010-08-27 23:30:12.0

Obviously Russell is to be a recurring Guest Vamp...I hate when brain goes faster than typing fingers....

    2010-08-27 23:31:13.0

I love crazy Russell in any form. Are you seriously taking Bill death suggestions?  I had a "daymare" the other day that was just awful that you might be able to use-- you are so creative with your morbidity. LOL,

    2010-08-27 23:48:59.0

Are you seriously taking Bill death suggestions?

Dallas, I'm ALWAYS taking Bill death suggestions. I have a running list of about 40 but I can't use them until I figure out the funny angle. Death by shower is on the list and I expected to get some inspiration from TB but I was to grossed out to watch the scene really closely anyway.

-- you are so creative with your morbidity

Thank you! I'm not gonna worry about it yet, lol. This is insane but my All-Human fic is just fun and laughs. Well, some Bill tormenting but we've gotten to 70 chapters and I don't think anyone has gotten hurt yet (altho this is to change soon...)

I think but not sure but Billy Crystal played the first  gay guy on the TV show SOAP during the Late 70's.  He played the part of Jody Dallas.  For the time it was a good show.  But I was 14 at the time.

I remember Soap. It was a good show. Completely nuts.

In the words of RE "faaannntassticcc!' That's so great. New Zealand will only be 2 days behind the US. I was wondering if I could keep off this site for 9 days until we get it shown here. I haven't managed it so far, which maybe why I'm getting a bit bored with it. I always know what's going to happen but I like to be warned of vomit-inducing B/S scenes.

kept thinking that O'hare was being interviewed by Big Gay Al from South Park.

ROTFLMAO!  "I'm super, thanks for asking... "  And you were ordained on line?  You and Eric have something in common!!!

    2010-08-28 11:38:44.0

Karla, cute pic. But why can't they make Crystal pretty on television too? LOL

    2010-08-28 11:48:51.0

So I know that here Eric/AS is king.  But I found this link to some Alcide shots and thought it was pretty funny.

Wow, AP looks beautiful in that red dress... I never thought I'd say that!

    2010-08-29 11:33:49.0

She really is photogenic. But her expression in the first pic is weird...

Here's a lovely photo of Denis and his boyfriend. Aww. They're so sweet...

From LA Times Article: "I can't imagine that Charlaine Harris features plotlines that have nothing to do with one another from chapter to chapter and plots that seem as though they're going to just end with no resolution one chapter before the end of the book."

    uh, yes she does!!!

"But I'm hoping next season can find a model that feels less chaotic and somehow keep hold of the strong center that's kept this season so much fun."

    ME TOO!!!!!

    2010-08-31 04:00:18.0

So after that fugly(in my opinion) dress at the Emmy's I found this pic of AP in a dress for a "pre-emmy" party.  This one I sort of liked. Anna Paquin pre-Emmy

AP was the 2nd worst dressed person at the Emmy's according to E yesterday. I would snigger but as I wouldn't be able to fit one of my legs into that dress never mind the rest of me, I wont.

This one I sort of liked. Anna Paquin pre-Emmy

Yeah, I think it's lovely and suits her.  It's like you were saying on the other thread, Dallas.  Better to go with the classier, less-is-more sort of dresses.  Really pretty!!

Who do we love more….Kristen or Pam?
Kristen’s most memorable moment? Deciding how to pull off going down on Yvetta. How should she pop her head up in that scene? How should she move her head between Yvetta’s legs to make it look real? Up and down? Side to side? Sam interjected at this point with his own experience… “side to side” works best. Kristen’s getting redder and redder, I thought Nelsan might fall out of his chair laughing. It was the highlight of the Q&A. Poor Kristen…the woman is soooo sensitive. When talking about the maker/child relationship between Eric and Pam she started crying…aawww. Then when mentioning how Lorena was one of her favourite characters on the show, she started crying again ‘cuz she was gonna miss Marianna…aawww.

wow this is so touching... seeing her in the show so 'cold and heartless' and so sweet and tender in reality. great video!

sorry, I can't get the whole link to hyperlink, you'll have to copy & paste on a webpage

Love Kristen talking about the P/E relationship.  Just watching them act together you can feel the affection between them as friends; they really use it to good advantage.  So sweet the way she described it.  And it didn't seem to be she was at all embarrassed or blushing about the whole "going down" thing.  She seemed to find it pretty amusing in true Pam form!  I wonder what AS has been telling her about Russian models?!!!  Wink

    2010-09-06 13:34:57.0

I found this site on line.  Fell in love with it and I am totally getting some of these to wear to school for Halloween.(I am like the dorkiest teacher on the planet!)
And if I had to tell the truth, I will probably wear them other times too.  LOL

    Retractable Fangs

    2010-09-07 22:42:46.0

Those do look super cool. If I had a teacher that wore those on halloween I would have loved them. Halloween is like the best holiday adn I loved when teacher dressed up. Then again I was a nerdy teacher's pet so maybe that doesn't make you any less dorky. At least your not alone.

    2010-09-08 00:04:04.0

Is this the same thing they use in TB? I wonder how it feels like in your mouth... Hmmm...

    2010-09-08 20:37:02.0

I don't know but I will let ya'll know cause I am soooo doing it.  I just hope they don't have to slide between the teeth cause I couldn't do that.

    2010-09-08 23:23:12.0

    Denis talking about Twilight.

Holy Crap!  Denis O'Hare has a Tony award for "Assassins"!!!  Steven Sondheim's "Assassins"?!!!  I'm geeking out here!!

    2010-09-09 12:32:46.0

Here are eight TB sex scenes you shouldn't try at home

OK, call me crazy, but I'm not quite sure why they have such an issue with number 3?!!  I mean what's a little chafing in the grand scheme of things...  Wink

    2010-09-09 16:51:13.0

LOL! They were even asking who would want that! I would! I would just ask him to slow down things a bit. Wink

    2010-09-10 01:59:28.0

Haha... well, if you go by CH's and TB's vampire mythology, all Eric would have to do is heal you with his super-duper vampire blood.  Chafing schmafing.

    2010-09-10 02:01:24.0

We know Eric is exceptionally hot and all, but does anyone want that?

    Yes, please!

Dallas Morning News sums up season 3 nicely I thought. AS, James Frain and Dennis O'Hare the exception to the bad acting comment though.

True Blood, HBO's contribution to vampire-mania, introduced werewolves to the bloodsucking mix this season. With shape-shifters like Sam and now the revelation of Sookie's true identity as a fairy (or faerie), it's quite a hodgepodge of supernatural creatures. Perhaps a mummy riding a unicorn can trot through the show.

Neither the writing nor the acting on True Blood is very good. It's an after-dark soap opera with nudity and gore. (The CW's Vampire Diaries is proving you don't need either to make a great vampire-centric TV show.) In tonight's "Evil Is Going On," Sookie "contemplates a life free of vampires," but at this point, I'm just considering TV viewing free of True Blood.

    2010-09-12 12:41:00.0

So, I have been totally infatuated with the Talbot Cookie Jar and was browsing this months copy of ur magazine (free promotional piece with Roger's in Canada). I was drawn to a hot picture of the viking on page 80, and the caption reads "The urn holding Talbot's ashes (I will correct them and say Talbot's goo) in Trueblood's third season was on loan from fans of the show - the owners of Waterford Crystal."

    2010-10-20 01:16:58.0

TB didn't get any nominations for anything ?  I'm surprised Denis O'Hare didn't.  I thought he was great.

    2011-01-05 21:14:22.0

What did?  Let me guess Mad Men?  and 30 Rock?  AS should have at least been nominated for Best Ass

    2011-01-05 21:16:36.0

So do ya think people are getting tired of vampires now??  Hope not.  I like TB even if AB screws it up.  I still can't believe that DO didn't get anything.  IMO he made season 3.  I thought it better than the whole Marianne crap.
