Could Djokovic steal this one from Federer?

Yeah, I noticed that in the TV guide yesterday.

Bugger, there goes my plan of going to bed earlier.

I had planned to be in bed by at least midnight in future, but with the tennis starting at 11.30pm (on TV), I've got no chance. (for the next week at least).

I'll have to have a look at the Wimbledon site and find out who's playing, but I suppose it will be the usual suspects.

I guess that Federer will be seeded No1 in the men's and Ana Ivanovic in the women's.

But then there's also Raffa and Maria Sharapova to consider?

No i don't think that rafa is good on grass, I think his strength is on clay.

What I meant was that as Rafa is playing on grass, he wouldn't be a threat to Fededer or Djokovic.

I watched bits of it till 2.00am, then went to bed, it was a pretty close game at that point.

I see that Hewitt eventually overcame Hasse,although it took him 5 sets to do so..

Bleh.... was a sad outcome to a pretty good match by Hasse.

I avoided this topic will I watched the Safin match. He wasn't all there. It wasn't an easy match for him.

Frankly, I'm worried for his next match. If he comes through that, he might have a real chance.

Roger and Hewitt - Hopefully it'll be an interesting match, and not another case of Roger blowing Hewitt off the court

Yeah, as soon as I declare that Ana Ivanovic will be my favourite player, she gets beaten. 

I watched the Jancovic V Wozniacki game and I think that the Danish girl may be a star of the future. (she's only 17 I think).

I imagine that they will be showing Federer/Hewitt game tonight, but I don't think I will watch much, as I have a busy week coming up..

I saw him interviewed, and he said that he doesn't know what will have to be done to fix it, but he said that he has to get it done no matter what it takes, as all he is doing is making it worse by playing.

Or, rather Federer never let him get going, although at times Federer appeared to lose concentration as well.

However you're right in saying that the match was disappointing.

I didn't see much of the Venus-Serena match, although I am pleased that Venus won it, as she is less in your face than Serena.(although I know that you will probably disagree with that Deezee)

Actually, I was gunning for Venus! I like em both, but this time I wanted Venus to win. This now evens their head-to-head score

The match was unbelievable!! Each set went on for more than an hour, and it was remarkable tennis being played out there. Best match of the whole tournament thus far.

I hope the rest of the tennis world stops under-rating them after this performance. They seem to focus on the glamour girls. Venus has FIVE titles now.... That's nothing to scoff at or ignore.

And Serena seemed to take the loss pretty hard. She wasn't a very good sport about it at the end

Oh dear...Federer looks in all sorts of trouble against Nadal and is 2 sets down and fighting for the 3rd

Before the match started, I decided to support Nadal. He's grown on me, and he's been playing well.

But since Roger has been 2 sets down, I've found myself going for Roger

Maybe because he's so rarely the underdog, or maybe I'm not willing to give him  up as the Wimbledon champ

Roger's just taken the 3rd.

The decision I now face is whether to tape the rest of the match, or sleep!
