I went to register, and filled in the form and hit enter.

The register page reloaded. I so I re-entered my details, but when I clicked on 'Register' it told me that user already exists.

I tried signing in and it worked, so I guess it worked the first time. But might help to go to a confirmation page instead

You are right, that's not good usability.  Technically, it did give a tiny, unadorned success message on the registration page after you pressed Enter, but I admit it is not easy to see.

I'll get to this.
