I have someone uploaded a folder to one of my steekr directory and it's now showing as an icon with question mark. It's made into a mystery file with file extension .alz and not recognized as a folder.
I just signed up a 20G account and need help resolving this ASAP. THanks.
Hi smallscreem. Can you please write your issue to the support center at contact@steekr.com
Hi Smallscreem , Can you please create a read-only sharing link with the folder and send it to contact@steekr.com
Thanks in advance
According to filext, the .alz file extension is used by compressed archives made with ALZip:
http://filext.com/file-extension/alz
http://www.altools.net/ALTools/ALZip/Features/ALZFormat/tabid/114/Default.aspx
Is the sender using this utility? Given its "Seamless Windows Integration", I guess such archives look like folders in Windows Explorer when the utility is installed; But to anyone else (including to SteekR server) it appear like a file with a mysterious extension...
If you need access to that data, that ALZ format being proprietary, the fastest way is to install this utility yourself (it seems to be a freeware), download the archive and open it...
