 I got 2 questions:

1. Is there an easy way to get the link to a shared resource without initiating the mailto: servive. I just want the link.
2. It would be fantastic if I could password-protect that shared resources.

Hi Thomas,

 the contact selection and mailing step of the sharing process is optional. Just click next and you will be presented with the link, ready to send out by IM or whatever. 

You can't currently secure the shares with a password, but the URL's are mangled so they can't be easily discovered. Just don't give them out?
