I want to use steekr drive to sync a file that is located on a lan harddrive.

This drive does not appear in the "selection" panel of Steekr drive".

And i don't know if I should configure anything in te "Configuration/network" panel. I am not familiar at all with the proxy options. I don't think I use one with simply a LAN HD.

Any suggestion on how to get steekr drive to work with a Lan drive?

    Hello Florent,
Usually the SteekR Drive works fine with network drives, and detect them as soon as you start it, but you can also make a right click in the selection panel and choose refresh to make appear the drives that weren't present when you started your software.

    Best regards,

I found that after a period of time SteekRDrive was using up in excess of 30% of the CPU so downloaded the latest version. I am now unable to map the network drive for backup, it only identifies the drives on my PC. I have tried the refresh as above but with no success. Any help would be be most welcome.

    Thanks

I use the latest version of SteekR Drive on Windows XP SP2 and I have no problem to see the network drives which are automatically detected even those which are on a linux OS, so you may want to check with your network administrator.

    Best regards,

    Philippe
