I know the blog said this is for tech community, but should we open this broader?
Sure. Anyone should be able to contribute. We're a welcoming bunch.
That said, I think a tech community hub for this discussion is important, and 2020summit.org pretty much does that. Other groups will engage with each other in their own way and may not take part using platforms we are comfortable with. We shouldn't let that stop us from asking people along - I'm sure we all know people involved in Summit subject matter areas that would benefit from taking part.
We have the momentum because we understand the tech and can get things to happen quickly, as evidenced by our little flurry of activity this morning - Twitter->GoDaddy->MediaTemple and we're away! That momentum should be put to work for good by encouraging anyone and everyone to get involved.
I like this - blogs, even small group blogs, offer one to many discussion tools. Tangler is a many-to-many and therefore offers more opportunities for discussion.
Gotta love the combo of tools!![]()
Twitter seems an appropriate addition to the mix, but what way to use it that involves conversation rather than spray? Ideas?
