Yes, it seems that some people just need a dumbed-down Wikipedia. I was browsing the Japanese Wikiwiki, when I noticed that the main page was also written in English and simple English! Surely this must be a translation error, but no!
Alas, the 10000+ articles that make up Simple English Wikiwiki are all dumbed-down quite severly, almost to the point of putting "Route 66 is a road" as the only text on the page. In place of 'Random Article', it introduces 'Show any page".
Check it out yourself, and post links to particularly hilarious sites!
Main Page - Wikipedias are places where people work together to write encyclopedias in different languages.

HAHA!
I cannot think of any reason for this wiki other than humor... seriously, who's going to go there and think, "Ohh, I thought the colour was just a coincidence!"
I don't think it's humour...
It's endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation...
I'm guessing it's the WikiPedia for kids.
Have a look at the page for Sydney: http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sydney
The way it's written, it's like for primary school kids, no?
lol!
Quick, is there an entry for 'sex'?
Yep!
And it's surprisingly long! LOL
"...is hat humans and animals do to make babies. Sometimes people do it for other reasonds than making babies..."
ROFL!
hehehe
From today's "Did you know...":
"In algebra, adding z to y (or y plus z) is written as
y + z
. Subtracting z from y (or y minus z) is written as
y − z
."
XD wow
