We're soon adding support for user defined CSS. Any thoughts on what you'd like to see?
good. beyond the basics, bg image and other image based design elements would be useful.... and font control.
Rhands: do you have any samples of the CSS yet?
How far are you looking to go with theming? Are you looking at providing user-defined configuration as well as user-defined CSS?
A user could do some pretty funky stuff with the two combined.
I've been meaning to put up some information on the Tangler wiki about this, but haven't had the chance to yet.
But to get started, I think the best thing to do is check out the stylesheets I did for Weewar, Particls and Tangler Feedback. They contain the most common elements you'd want to play around with, and give good examples of how to do certain effects (like having the Tangler logo always at the bottom of a repeated gradient background)
@Richard: Yeah, that's the idea. Everyone has a different preference on style and how things should be laid out. So the aim will be to allow group creators the flexibility to control that.
A warning though...our current CSS selectors will most likely change in upcoming releases as we clean it up and refine the components of each page. Please feel free to play around with it as much as you like, but bear in mind its still in flux, so your styles that look kick-ass today may not tomorrow. Once it's settled down, i'll post a more in depth guide to what each selector covers.
Here's a dark stylesheet I made: http://year2000prob.googlepages.com/dark.css
Great. Do you have a Tangler forum that's using it?
This one I think: http://www.tangler.com/forum/tangleworld
Looks really good
