Even if ti's still in beta, I'd like to know if there is any project for localizing tangler in other languages.

If so, have you any idea concerning the agenda?

I've heard that netvibes uses the *best ever* solution for localization. 

I've started to ask French people about their interest for a French speaking tangler here .

To answer your question, I'm not sure about the browser side of Tangler, I'll let the other developers answer that for you. I can give you answer for the notifier and that is yes, I have already done the necessary steps to allow for language localisation. All that is needed is some spare time and some translaters to actually translate the stuff for us into whatever language is required.

Yes we would love to localise Tangler for our French speaking user. In terms of when that might happen, would be largely driven by the communities interest.

How do the guys at Meebo do it?  They've supposedly localised in many languages.

We were discussing about localization on the barcamp' skypecast a few weeks ago and when speaking about meebo Marty and factoryjoe said that netvibes was *better* with a very cool little interface.
If needed we could ask tips or more from netvibes, they are very open and friendly.
That's a good occasion for me to drop an invit to Franck Mahon, a very cool guy from netvibes, for testing tangler.

I could help translating into swedish. I have already translated 3 FF-addons using Babelzilla as well as a few sites and dialogs in a few programs, so I should have enough experience to translate Tangler interface into swedish.
