I have a Nokia E61 - Nokia's smartphone to compete with blackberrys. Very satisfied
I've downloaded the Gmail app, which allows me to access my Gmail account with full functionality. Loving it.
I think a Tangler app equivilant would be a killer. Being able to chat on the phone. Has this been thought of, and if so, how far down the list is it?
I requested it sometime last year
and what's the consensus?
I'm working on the first part.... getting a mobile which will support it
heh heh
Yeah, that's a tough one. It's not even on the list. Though I agree it's a wonderful thing
I think with a sophisticated phone it would only be a matter of reformatting the output to suit a small browser, we actually did have a lightweight version in a previous tool (the browser sidebar plugin but that feature has since been dropped).
Another issue is the javascript support in the mobile browsers. Not sure how good that is.
Seems none of the mobile browsers hadle javascript well, but Opera for Windows Mobile 5 was the best. I could browse my groups but could not post. Still, better than nothing.
Nice.
My Gmail app on my phone is a separate Java download - connection to Gmail is not done through the browser.
