Whenever we consider embedding, one of the main things we consider is the level of brand control. The more I can keep this as a private, or white label solution, the more inclined we are to using it.
This is due to two main factors:
1. Visitors - we want our visitors to have a uniform experience where they feel the tools used are from us.
2. Competitors - the less they know on how to integrate our tools, the better.
I would assume Tangler is planning on selling a service where you could have your own encapsulated message boards and brand it however you'd like. Correct guys?
I would think that would be the money making application that people will line up for.
Yep, we want to let discussion happen everywhere so integration and embedding are the next big things.

The key though is to let you have your own Tangler forum but to still be connected to Tangler Network, so then users don't have to sign up to 1,000 different forums and they can have a common set of tools. Let me know if you want more info.
Mick,
I think to be an alternative to other paid for message board services you'd have to have some private/filter options for folks so only their own regesitered users can join the discussion. Should be simple enough if you log into tangler you log into your "registration required" boards as well.
Would it be possible to privately host a forum? We'd like something like this internally without requiring employees to be exposed to the entire Tangler network...
@deadline - We're planning on adding another group type which requires the group creator / admin to approve new members and only members will be able to post messages (though anyone can still view messages). Would this solve your problem?
rhands,
I think that would solve THE problem of monetizing your product yes. I don't really have the problem personally
It's just how I see you guys making money off your work.
I would also suggest for the private product to be able to integrate google ads.
