The very fact that you have a linux notifier impressed me, and I was doubly impressed to see that it took no effort to get it working. That said, a few things strike me off the bat, and I'm not sure whether these apply only to the linux version or to all three notifiers.
1. I'd like it if the notifier kept a small list of recent notifications. Maybe we get to choose between 3, 5, or 7. And each notification contains a link to a particular message whatever. This would pop up on left click (while right click continues to bring up the menu).
2. Also, I'd like to have the option to choose between being notified of all my contacts' posts, or just the messages directed at me.
3. And it would also make sense to have a finer level of control in terms of getting notifications from particular groups and/or topics (or does this already happen when you watch topics?).
That's all for now, but if I think of anything else, I'll follow-up here. Great work...
Thanks czheng.

As for point 3, you're right - watching groups and topics means that you will be notified of activity in the notifier. So if you join a group, unwatch it, and select a few topics to watch in that group, you'll only get notified abt those.
What you see in Linux is the same as what you see on the other 2 platforms(win, mac). With the exception of Growl features on the mac and a few minor tweaks here and there.
