Hi, I created the group champaignchessclub a few days ago and it does not show up at all in searching. I invited someone to join the group, and he joined tangler, but now he does not know how to find the group! I sent him the link for the group now, but as you can imagine this is a very poor user experience.

Let me know if there is any more information of feedback I can give to fix these issues.

hi, it looks like champaignchessclub is a private group, private groups does not show up in the search results. when you invite your friends to tangler by going to the "invite your friends" link on your contacts page, a list of your groups will be shown on the right where you can check off groups, including private groups, for your friends. when your friends follows the invitation link they receive in their email and registers with tangler they will automatically be subscribed to those groups you selected.

Also, you can directly invite your friends who might already be Tangler members into the group by going to the group's About page and clicking on 'Invite to Group'

Hi , how convert a private group to a public one? where is that option in tangler?... i search all the configuration options but doesnt see it.

Sorry, you can't change it right now (bug... feature...)

It's in an upcoming release. We're working on a big one right now, so it will be action packed.

8 million? Are you counting every Tangler member as an employee.. and all their families as well?

If so I demand a paycheck! (minimum wage * time I spend on Tangler = win)
 

My extended family probably covers 1/2 that number, that's why....

Instead of using the Contacts link, I directly invited from the about menu in the group  The e-mail the person received said the followin:

gregwebs has suggested the following groups for you;
- Champaign Chess Club

However, there was no link for this club in the e-mail.

There's no link because they can't view the group until the sign up I think.

It will be added to their Groups when they sign in
