It seems that some backgrounds (aka the one from Mick's blog/ tangle) don't scale well with different monitor resolutions since it starts to repeat. Maybe an autostrech could be added?

Yep, that is my poor management of my CSS...........

Background stretching is interesting and would help some designs, but for now we're only supporting what can be achieved with css only.
