Making the home page a bit more accessible would be good. If you're signed in, you shouldn't see the default "create a forum" page; it should display your user/home page. Some security settings, such as hiding forums (so others don't see them when they view your profile), would also be nice.
murph, when do you see the 'create a forum' page?
When a user signs in, they see the Dashboard (for multiple forum users) or the forum homepage (single forum users)
Re hiding a forum. Are you talking about hiding public forums from showing in your profile?
I see the "create a forum" page when I visit http://www.tangler.com/ .
Yes, hiding certain forums from displaying on my profile. Or is there a way to make a forum (that you own) private?
also, would it be possible to have separate aliases for each forum?
Is it even possible to delete a forum??
No, you can't change from public to private right now
I suppose if you wanted separate aliases, you'd have to create separate accounts and then create the forums as required
And no, we don't have the delete forum functionality as yet
While in the discussion window, it would be really nice if there were some sorting options for the topics on the left. Sort by Created, or Popular, or latest response or whatever.
Yeah, that would be good.
Noted. Thanks!
Also, topics should also be able to be made "sticky" by the user so that those flagged ones that interest the user always stay at the top of the scroll list.
Ah... so this is different to the forum owner making a topic sticky, yes?
yes'm.
Hmmm.... will have to think more about that one
