The list of topics in my forum appears to be sorted by the date of the last reply (most recent topics up top) but Tangler is ignoring dates. It's putting topics with replies of November 27, 2007 above those with replies of November 26, 2008.
Hey Dan, I don't think there should be November, 26 2008 replies. It hasn't happened yet.
Sorry, I meant February.. maybe this isn't what happening, but the sorting is still wrong. Posts from 2007 with no new repliesn randomly appear at the top of the list, above those with replies from yesterday.
I had a look at your forum and the topics were in order.
Tell me Dan, how did you get to the topics tab?
I ask because - if you entered the topics tab using a direct link to a topic in the forum (say from your dashboard), that topic will show up at the top.
Is that what happened?
No, I go directly to the forum index. Even the forum's main page shows as "recently active" a topic with a last reply in November 2007, when there are topics with replies this year in that forum...
The Recently Active list shows a list of topics that you haven't participated in. It's not unusual to see older topics in that if you've been active and participated in other more recent topics in that forum.
If there are new messages in a topic you've participated in, it'll show in the other tab - 'Participated'
Could you point me towards the forum in which the topics aren't listed correctly please?
