  Topics and Subtopics

  Hmmm, it's something we're really thinking about a lot.

  We don't want to just do threading how it was on (very very) old school forums. I think we need to Tanglerise it.

  What if you could spawn a new topic from within another topic and then permanently link them. So the new topic says "This topic was started here" and links to it. And the old topic says "New topic started here - link".

  What do you think?

  How To Create a Group

  So you are really popular? Why don't you create a group of all your fans so they can talk about how good you are?

  

   

  Quick Answer

  1. Click 'Create Group' in the top left. 
  2. Fill out the questions.
  3. Create a  couple of topics to kick it off.
  4. Click 'Invite to Group' in the top right.  (just below search)
  5. Invite all your  buddies.
     

  Go for it. The first 8,000 groups you create are free. (just kidding, they are always going to be free).

  I think the topic creator can edit the topic but can't delete it.

  There are three main ways of getting into a Tangler conversation.
  
  

  1. http://www.tangler.com - the front door.

  How to Invite Someone to Tangler

  At the moment, Tangler is invite only (very exclusive), but if you're a user you are given some invites to bring on friends. If you see 'Invite Your Friends' at the top middle of the screen, then you have some invites. If you don't see it, then email us or write in Tangler feedback or here to ask for some more.

  How to Invite Someone to Tangler

  1. Click 'Invite Your Friends' at the top middle of the screen. The invite page will load.
     
  2. Type or paste in their addresses and their names. You can invite 5 at a time.
     
  3. Type in a personal message, maybe telling them why you are inviting them.
     
  4. Select the groups of yours that you'd like them to get automatic access to. Any groups you pick will appear in their 'Your stuff' page. 
     
  5. Click 'Send'
  6. Your friends will get an email inviting them to Tangler. They may have to check their junk mail boxes in case they have it set aggressively .
     

  Now you can all Tangle together.
