  • How do you add a topic to your watch list?

Do you already have the Group on watch?  If so, there is no way to add a watch to an individual topic (as all topics, including new entries, are watched).

If you aren't subscribed to the Group, then individual topics should have a star (not coloured) to the left of its name... clicking on it will add it to your watch list (and change the colour to gold).

    1) Mick... I think your idea spawning new topic with permanent links back and forth is absoutely bang on...

    2) I think it would be even better if using the link could take you to the right spot in the target... rather than to the topic head (just a wee bit more challenging I know...)

    3) I've spoken elsewhere on my aversion to extending a hard hierarchy above or below the Group level....  tags, tag, tags.. fits the Tangle model much better

    4) Tagging should be at both the Group level and Topic level (not just the topic level) Doing this will enable wonderful things to happen.... one can look at the topic level for all occurences of a tag or at the group level and look for specific tags within the group....thus allowing all the benefits of  a heirarchy without having to hard code it ... and not having to forsee what will actually be useful at anygiven time ... and allowing the Tangle to be dynamically kept alive... not locked into a long past 'need'

    5) shouldn' t this topic  have a line ... This topic should be over here - Tangle Feedback- Sub forums .  ?

  • sending a group to an email

see duc: I think its your browser that controls what you see in terms of sending email -- if using Firefox you may have an extension enabled that controls what happens...In my case I signed up to "The Amazing Webpage Emailer"  -- its not perfect, but if i highlight all the entries in the right pane I can then use the right click to email vial gmail with all pictures & any links intact.

The mail gets quite long though as it also includes ALL topic names/links from the right Topic pane....
