Session Topic: Mobile and Communications
Anybody posting in here? Like to see what's up with mobile stuff.
Yep, I'm here.
First demo - Yap had mobile problems - San Francisco is a black hole!
Second one is Ceedo where you can take your apps on your mobile phone.
Looks ok, but I'm 99% of my time with my laptop so don't really care. All of my other apps I can download pretty quickly.
still dont get ceedo... am going to check out website
Yeah, I'm not sure the use case is big enough.
Too bad, would've like to have heard/seen how well Yap works
now you can drag images from the same page and drop them into Tangler.

So what are some of Ceedo's use cases? I take my virtualized OS around on a USB drive... when i get to an internet cafe in Mexico I can plug it in and off I go ?
The guy said his laptop just died, but he doesn't care cause all his apps are on his phone.
Is he showing how that is helping him ?

It's mainly having risk free way to get to your apps.
It's a good system, but I dont think I care enough.
Curious about loudtalks
Yap is back up.
It's working now.
You can talk and your phone converts to text so you can text, twitter, search the web, etc.
Seems to work pretty well.

Loud talks are having some technical problems. The voice is not coming through. Painful silence........ boy that air conditioning is loud.
These guys also have quite strong accents. I think it's normally worth getting a really good public speaker with a clear voice to do your big demo. Even if you're CEO. Put the best person on stage.
