I heard recently that there are groups for Young Adult authors in LA and NY and I was left thinking, why not Boston? If you have published a children's or young adult novel, please let me know if you would be interested in joining my group. It would be nice to have a network of local authors, and maybe we could meet once a month or so - in a totally casual setting - just to chat. Please respond if you're interested!
HI Alisa, I've finished writing a YA novel (1st draft) and am seeking critiques. Would you be available for that in your group? Thanks!
Hi Alisa:
I've completed some YA short stories and am now in the midst of a YA novel. I'm interested in joining a group.
Thanks for your messages, and congratulations on your first draft! I'm hesitant to make this a critique group, only because I'm afraid I don't have the time to properly devote to it. But maybe you could start your own critique group? You may find even more people on the message boards. That said, keep me posted on your writing:)
Hi Alisa, ladyvincenza and BGY- I just joined and came across these posts -- did a YA group ever get formed? I have a completed YA/Middle grade novel that I am looking for some critique on (especially the first 30-50 pages). Is anyone interested in meeting?
Hello all. I'm about 2/3 done with my first YA novel and a friend and I are looking to start a YA writers group. Please email me if you are interested. If you're far away, we can make it an online thing if necessary.
