Perhaps as a PSA, you could also throw in the fact that you *can* block facebook apps. It's made the whole thing more useable. The apps I use are there, and I'm slowly blocking most of the spam apps

I think noise is unasked for information in any form - and concerns about becoming too narrow in focus, notwithstanding - the whole move is towards narrowing and deepening signal and away from broadcast. I define what is noise/signal myself... Plus I wanna know - when did the financial report on the Evening News stop being News and became an Advertisement for Commonwealth bank? o.O
