I'm not sure whether I want to own a hobby farm (recent stories of non-fun have scared and scarred me) or just own a place with enough room for some chickens, a good vegie garden and room for great great grand kids to run around.

Any thoughts?
 

I think thats good in theory but in practice a lot of work - I have mates who have 2.5 acres and they say all weekends are taken up just looking after the yard, picking up branches, mowing etc etc.

Yeah, too much work.... and expense!!
