  Phi Phi Island vs Koh Samui

  OK, we've decided on Phi Phi due to weather.

  Any tips for good hotels?

  We are looking for 4 star at least, nice rooms, on the beach, pool, spa and massage on resort, in a good area, but not too busy or too quiet. ;

  Buying a Car in San Francisco to Travel Across USA

  Erik and others,A friend of  mine is landing in Oakland and driving his family to North Carolina.

  Any tips on buying a car?

  $10k US budget.

  Insurance? etc.

  Can he sell it in NC?

  Vietnam or Thailand or ??

  I'm planning a week long honeymoon for November this year.

  I'd love to do Vietnam, but I'm struggling to find the 'nice' areas. We're also looking at Thailand.

  Any recommendations, thoughts?

  Mini-Bar Fraud-Do you cheat?

  In Lithuania the mini bar is just a bottle of label-less vodka and a piece of bread. Works just as well.

  Qantas Club Invite

  Does anyone have a compliementary visit they can give me to save my a$$?

  I accidentally gave away my girlfriends free pass into the Qantas club. I thought that her being silver level freq flyer she'd get in anyway.

  Amazing hotels - got pics?

  Mine are;

  The 'la meridian' in London. Amazing, like a chateau.

  

   

  And funnily enough I then stayed in the Warwick in Paris (three weeks with work - that was bananas) It was seriously 500 metres from the Arc D'triumph. 

   

  

  

  Number 3 was the Westin in Melbourne, amazing bathroom bigger then my bedroom.

  

   

  But the fanciest was a place on the coast in Cascais, Portugal. It was just crazy. $650 for the night. But breakfast was an event worth $200. They made you smoothies, personalised museli, cooked anything you wanted - I was there for two hours.

  It's the one on the cliff face at the bottom;

  

  The next night we were in a tiny little place that had cordial instead of juice..........
