  • Mini-Bar Fraud-Do you cheat?

I'm a sucker for the beer and toblerone chocolate bars. I have never drunk the spirits and stay away from the wine cos I'm a bit of a wine snob and refuse to pay sky high prices for ordinary plonk... Phil always eats the Pringles chips.:)

And Albany also has some nice wines. It will be winter though so lots of the great stuff about SW WA won't apply. It will be a bit chilly to get wet for instance...

You could always head north for the sun. Ningaloo Reef in June is beautiful. I think it may be Whale Shark season too. You can get in the water with your snorkel and let the current slowly take you south and enjoy the marine view (I think there are packages and you get picked up at the other end). Coral Bay/Ningaloo

Swim with dolphins at Monkey Mia. Kalbarri is also nice. Has some pretty gorges, horseriding on the beach, great fishing and the best seafood BBQ in Oz (Finlay's).

I think The Art gallery in Melbourne has some great exhibitions on in June/July. Melbourne is a great place to visit. Go for brekkie at the Degraves just near the main train station - Flinder's Street. Hit the shops in Richmond on Church Road. Go for a late night drink at The Supper Club or The Kitten Club. Ca6tch a game of Aussie Rules football in the footy capital of Oz!

    Enjoy your trip!

  • Qantas Club Invite

Hi Mick. If you are gold or above she should be able to join you. I recently flew Qantas to Melbourne and my friend was waved in to the lounge at both ends (I am gold and she is not a FF).

If you still need a pass I have one! You'll have to come and get it though! It expires April end 07 so perfect.

    Let me know...

Now I have a goldfish memory. Can't remember what I was doing. Have a vague recollection of chatting about it at uni but that may have been the day after.

    I also liked the chowder.

We stayed near Tenderloin, so not a great area but like all tourists, spent little time at the hotel and lots of time walking and exploring.

We went in the early 90s and I remember going to a place at Castro and drawing on a piece of fabric which ended up becoming part of the Aids Memorial Quilt. It was in memory of a beautiful and wonderful friend called Paul.

I liked the Stinking Garlic restaurant too. And the bookshops.
