I feel in love with St. Petersburg, Russia and that is saying alot since I was there in the winter.  Such a beautiful city with amazing architecture and statue gardens.  I hope to go visit in the summer some time.

It's one of my must go/see/experience destinations too!!

    2007-07-30 20:33:24.0

I actually thought I wouldn't like it (mainly because of the cold), but just an amazing city, you can feel the history around it.

    2007-07-30 20:39:50.0

Yeah, I remember seeing scenes of Russia in some movie, and I decided there and then that I had to go to that country

    2007-07-30 20:51:31.0

Moscow is a bit scary but one cool thing I did was taking the train from Moscow to St. Petersburg

I would absolutely love to go to Russia, it's one of those places that seems so beautiful and mysterious..if you have any pics Kazz I would love to see them:) hmm I have a few cities that I think are the best in the world, personally I love Melbourne, Bratislava in Slovakia, and Munich

    2007-07-31 04:52:58.0

I hope to get to Melbourne while I am here sounds like an awesome city, all my friends that have gone have just fallen in love with it.  Wow Bratislava tell me about it, sound interesting.  How come you were there?

    2007-08-01 17:34:09.0

I didn't like Melb.... I mean, I had fun there, but I was glad to leave. Don't ask me why. It was more of a feeling than anything else.
Just me.... not saying there's anything wrong with the city

    2007-08-01 17:54:50.0

lol yeh I know that feeling I had that when I was in Adelaide, I just didn't feel comfortable there. I went to Bratislave last yr as part of my trip through Europe it was the best experience, it was just all so ancient the buildings and stuff but filled with young ppl just partying til 3am I loved it! Melb is very orgainised compared to Sydney, shops are good, little cafes everywhere and I love the trams, definetly try to get there sometime

    2007-08-01 19:27:20.0

Yeah, I think its why I didn't like it maybe.... too organised and structured and sophisticated in a sense... not that that's a bad thing. Maybe I'm just too used to Sydney

    2007-08-01 19:34:40.0

yeh I am too used to Sydney I am getting bored with it I think lol

    2007-08-01 19:47:30.0

Seattle (at least it used to be....) ,,,then maybe Paris. I live in Prague and really love it (I also speak Czech), but it has a long way to go before anyone in their right mind would call it one of the world's best cities....

I'm a big fan of Rome. It manages to blend the modern with the ancient. Crossing the road and driving there is not for the faint hearted, but once you've got used to that it's a fantastic place.

San Diego was nice, but Im inclined to say Konstanz in Germany, very pretty and the ducks were polite. Same with Strasbourg, but the ducks didn't speak to me

Nope, Luton is the worst city in the world, closely followed by Nukus

I loved Reykjavík when I visited Iceland two years ago. I could definitely live there.

Otherwise, I loved everywhere I visited. Each place had its own unique charm. I loved living in London (I did so for 2 years)... I loved Copenhagen's friendly attitude, there were parts of Paris and Berlin that I adored; I found Moscow more livable than St Petersburg; and felt like I could eventually get quite comfortable in Hong Kong.
