Hello one and all,

Copa Pescadisco is (what iv heard) an AMAZING 3day, beach hat tournament on the island of Mallorca. Myself, Kev, Bear, some bingers and some cork people have all signed up for it so its gonna be great craic. Its on the 17th - 19th of October (just when its starting to get cold and you can jet off to spain!!) Player fee and accomodation is around €95 which is crazy cheap! Id really recommend going to this as its going to be amazing. Flights arnt too bad, flying on the 15th seems to be the best at €90return.

Total €113, Not too shabby i think.

Well I'm actually here for a reason to point out that this hat tourney is on the same weekend as Whacking day for all you budding indoor beginners handlers. But more importantly last year the day after whacking day was Indoor nationals. Just putting that out there.

Having realised this I immediately contacted the IFDA to make sure that we would still be around to defend out intervarsites title and we will be. A schools tournament will be on the 19th and indoor varsities in mid November, Open and Women's.
