Useability: the good, the bad and the ugly

Usability is a term used to denote the ease with which people can employ a particular tool or other human-made object in order to achieve a particular goal. Some designs are obviously worked at with meticulous detail in order that the tool will work both effectively and efficiently -- others, well no so much! This can be true of both computer (software) and other systems.... this group is meant to be a showcase and discussion forum of both good and bad examples or products and services...
