Pssht we've been doing that for years using Back Orifice and other backdoor remote access/viewing programs

(is clearly kidding and does not condone the use of backdoor, trojan, malicious software, viruses, malware, spyware and unauthorised access to another person's computer)

I've been using Clicktale for a few weeks now - very interesting. Creates an movie and shows how the each user read your website. Analytics on a per user basis is what interests me most - I get plenty of visitors for example - that's easy (SEO and the like) but its what keeps people to stick around that now interests me.

How do the click tracking programs in terms of doing usability testing? Does it save time? Does the data help you understand why people do things?

I use the data to see, where people are going within our sites, and what are the most commonly used features... This is used for planning new content and producing features that we know people are going to use

how do you track a site, that doesn't require clicking (example)??? and how about sites built in Flash??? issues to discuss
