Going to My Account and using the Filter function causes the button Do Not Log my visits to appear with the text above it, saying: You are visits are being logged.
I noticed that after I press this button, my browser visits are still being logged.
I tried this in IE, and then FireFox, and even closed the browser button in FireFox.
I looked at the cookies from w3counter on FireFox, and I saw the filter cookie.
So, the cookie is created.
Congrats on such a nice interface. What I love about this service is the ability to see how long a vistor stayed on a certain page.
With Gratitude,
Salvatore
Oh I don't get it, did you fix what was wrong? Because I am having a similar problem. I use the filter button and it says my visits are being ignored, but actually it does not.. Sometimes when I look again at the filter page, it got back to "being counted". Is it my computer or w3counter that's making this mess? It was working fine till not so long ago..
Nothing has changed in the filter code for several months. You might try clearing your cookies.
Oh, I can sign in now.. I sent you an email.
Thanks for your email. Although it is a bit inconvenient to use the adblock, but it is fine for now.
