    2007-07-14 02:15:21.0

ok, i have never seen any other image for attack except the red x

    2007-07-14 07:15:05.0

can you specify what browsers you are using? Looks like IE - but on which system and which version? Thanks

    2007-07-14 07:37:08.0

yup its IE, version 7. To be more specific (7.0.6000.16473)

    2007-07-14 11:02:45.0

well Internet Explorer seems to give everyone difficulties, which is why I use FireFox

    2007-07-14 14:49:38.0

IE is a pain to develop for.. but we still got to do it. so please report any problems as detailed as possible. So eventually these problems will go away - even if you are used to them by then;)

    smoscone: Troll! :P:)

    2007-07-14 21:37:29.0

ok cheers, so im appointed head IE bug tester guy now cos im stupid enough to not have FF lol ok thats cool:P

    2007-07-14 21:53:24.0

I guess this is the thread where we dump IE bugs? The problem reported by Kabs is seen on both the normal and test version of Weewar. I also see a bunch of X's in the map editor. And sometimes IE seems to timeout on the Weewar server and I would need to restart IE for it to work again. And yes, I'm using IE7.

Well, if you're working on browser compatibility, any nod towards Opera would be appreciated. :P  You'll find it orders of magnitude better than IE in terms of standards support, so it should be easier to work with than IE. :P

Sometimes on Firefox what I think is a similar thing happens, except instead of the little white boxes with the red X, there just isn't a picture - only the subunit count appears. Refreshing fixes it though

    2007-07-15 07:00:04.0

its annoying when watching replays when a large battle is going on and you have no idea whos attacking who.

    2007-07-15 07:03:18.0

kabs, i'm in the same boat.  i have some of those same types of bugs, but, as alex said, i've gotten used to them.  i'm even stupid enough to have dl'd and installed FF but can't get it to work.

    2007-07-16 10:44:47.0

lol, yea im used to it but i would prefer an attack image

    2007-07-16 11:41:10.0

We have worked hard on IE fixes and will hopefullty be able to roll them out to test soon. (I  still recommend to switch to FF:) )

    2007-07-16 12:03:08.0

I've seen the same problem as Super-King on FireFox (unit disappearing and only unit count displayed) but usually only during replay

    2007-07-16 16:45:25.0

Super-King, I think you have a good point there, Firefox does seem to be having missing pics and maybe in IE, the same problem is shown as red X's instead because I experience both problems in their respective browsers.

    2007-07-16 17:00:55.0

can you do that in IE?

    2007-07-16 17:03:24.0

Yeah, it goes away if you refresh in IE. But it happens a lot when you're watching a person move and it's even worse in replays and I don't want to be  refreshing IE every single time a person moves a unit.

    2007-07-16 17:08:03.0

smoscone: I agree that Fx is better than IE, but I still think you were trolling. ;)

    2007-07-16 18:02:10.0

I only see the "ghost with subunit number" effect once in a while.  It's pretty rare, and refreshing "fixes" it.

    2007-07-16 18:02:47.0

my ie when refreshed still no attack image. I have never seen any attack image in a game....dam ie

    2007-07-17 11:49:45.0

wow, at least i don't have it that bad.  it's no where near all the time for me.  that would suck! :P

    2007-07-17 12:00:26.0

with the new update nothing has changed in the way of ie image bug

    2007-07-22 04:41:22.0

in FF after update: after attacking, the attacking unit disappears and leaves subunit count there. it doesn't go away until you end the turn. and then only after ending and refreshing. it's happened a couple times.

    2007-07-22 08:29:43.0

Evanari: That's the same problem as before and that same problem affects IE (but with X images instead of nothing at all).

    2007-07-23 23:10:35.0

I caugh this ui refresh bug this evening:

I think it's the same thing Super King described above ... a refresh also fixed it.

BTW, tonight I was playing on my Mac Book Pro via FF.

    2007-07-23 23:24:17.0

It's so weird! And I think the ghosting problems might relate to it. I think the developers really need to squash this bug.

    2007-07-23 23:28:50.0

I also had it while I was watching a replay. But it was only there for one turn and then everything displayed normally again.
