I've been playing in alot of multis lately, and it seems more and more that players are much more willing to ignore each other and focus on me. In one game, they were even discussing how once i'm defeated they will split all the my points because of my ranking. Feels like they are almost turning cannibal on me.

It's kinda putting a damper on alot of the multis I'm playing. And I like playing multis.

lol, I haven't noticed that, but then again I've just gotten my good rating, so I'll be sure to play with people around the same score as me

Actually, that happened slightly to me once.  One guy was pretty much on par or better than me, but didn't have the rating to show for it yet.  So then the third player thought that I was the bigger threat due to my high rating (at the time).  So she ended up focusing on me, and then we both lost because she didn't attack the other guy as much, even if he was easily amassing a big army.  So he just mopped up because I and the third player whittled down each other while he just sat back.

Yeah, I've felt the same at times.  I generally prefer to play 1v1 now.

I think the point is to play with players who have similiar ranks, as smoscone mentioned above . Tho I know it's hard to do so with basic account sometimes :p

Yah that goes for me too. that is why in my suggested "inspector" redesign, you'll notice the playerlist only shows player name, color indicator, and online status. There is no display of level status during the game.

hmmm - maybe that's my problem

in a few games some people seemed to focus on me in the beginning, but these games were drawn later anyway. I often play with players which have a lot less points than I have because it is often a problem for me to find players who have a similar score in the chat. I should same some good players on a messenger . ^^ I personally try to keep my opponents at equal strength if possible.
