I was trying to decide where to move my raider (bottom left, with the blue hex border), and I noticed that my far base was not darkened out.
Sure enough, I was able to "teleport" my raider over there. Sorry for exploiting the bug, but I had to test it to make sure it really was a bug. ![]()
I'm not sure if that's a bug or not, but I've seen it too. If you've ever tried moving a raider around the middle circle in the Badlands map, you'll have seen the same behavior. It seems like raiders get a slight movement bonus when running over multiple consecutive bases.
Well, dunno if only raiders - i think every unit gets a movement bonus when crossing the base - I noticed it when playing the botanic troubles map, where I could move units like h.trooper or artilery 2 tiles where one of them was a base tile and the other the sand tile.
I can believe that, BUT, why aren't any of the intervening hexes highlighted, too, then? (Those units consumed their turns in this game turn already).
If what you say is true, then maybe it's not a movement bug, but it only serves to highlight the devaluation of the game when specs and formulae are secret. ![]()
Because your Raider may drive around the other units but can not stop on them -> not highlited
Chrigi: I think it's because the units were used up already. I've seen that unused units are not darkened, meaning your unit could move to those hexes if those unused units left the hexes.
Yesterday I was experiencing some wierd movement too — at least different than I was used to. In the last update was it made so that units of lesser health can't move as quickly?
TAE, The movement is defenitely not affected by the numbers of units left. You are likely to have experienced some ZOC (see the wiki for more info n that).
As for display issues - there are some (also to do with replay and watching games) and we will look into those soon!
According to this that's not a bug
