I'm unable to invite new players to the test server. Is it currently disabled?
What happens if you try to invite a new player? I just invited my other email address and got an invitation email .
nothing happens, it just takes me back to the create game page.
Not sure if this is a bug or by design, but the 'Available Players' page shows people who are offline. (Compared to how it is now, where only currently online players show)
nice, the thing about choosing units to play with. also that games can be open is cool. Not sure if this is the topic to post this, but I would also include a possibility to define which kind of players you want to join, like +/-100 points away from mys score.

Is there a family pack? I mean , really, I have two sons who are starting to play the game, but while I could rationalize $4/month, I cant see $12/month. Am I being cheap here?
Little problem with the test weewar.
Since you can completely customize which units you allow to be made in the game players are able to turn off all units or the basic of all units the light infantry. Doing this pretty much makes it impossible to win the game. Players are unable to capture bases. Make it so that light infantry can not be checked off. Also on pro maps prevent players from disabled hover crafts.
Also another suggestion is to allow players to set what conditions for victory they desire. For example the current conditions for victory is destroying all enemy units AND capture all enemy bases. Allow players to toggle on or off these two options. Possibly add in other options such as Obtain X amount of credits.
Another issue with the test server.
Draws do not work. The option to offer peace only alerts the player that you are going to offer peace but it never actually happens.
I thought the victory condition was just to capture all bases..
then again, its hard to do that without destroying all units since when you get close to the last base all the units they have will be in the way
BUG: The contents of the chat don't show on the Top Players page until I type something in. Then the is shows, but when I go to other pages and come back to it, it's empty again

I use IE becuase I'm mainly an opera user and Weewar doesn't work too well in games with it so I'm using IE for the games.

BUG- I found that on FF after I had played for a while it told me that I was offline in my profile and the "on" status next to my name disappeared while I was playing
for a small period of time, an opponent did not show up as being online within a game. that is the "on" didn't show up, but he was clearly there making moves and chatting. he shows up as "on" now though. just wanted to let the devs know. otherwise, test is going great with the "new game" and all. ![]()

Awesome awesome. I really like the 'open game' concept that anyone can join. I'm hoping it will greatly speed-up the pace of picking up games, etc.

Great point about the units. I think the system needs to be able to calculate what units are "required" for the map. I suppose this could be statically predetermined by a human, with each map getting a required unit set (i.e. no checkbox, or forced-checked checkbox).

If youy want to open a new game and you cant, then you get the usual message below. Would look nicer if there were spaces before Headquaters and Games archive.

We have rolled out a small bug fix packet to test.weewar.com earlier today. It should include some of what has been flagged up here. We'd hope IE is back under control, too. Take it for a spin... And thanks for testing! All your feedback has been really helpful.
in the "open games" tab, why not have the "slots" column be sortable like the other columns are?

found a bug. In this game against madmike I have just gotten to my turn and half of my units are shaded in and I havent moved anything. No clue whats happening, but thought you guys oughta know.

not a bug, but a suggestion/request. i just asked alex this in a game that he's currently playing: what troops are allowed? from a visitor/guest's perspective it may seem rather confusing that the actual players in the game are only building certain units. could the units that are available for each game be listed in the game page?
Or maybe on some kinda popup, so it doesn't consume precious real estate.

Bug: I tried to remove a player in http://test.weewar.com/game/23 but cant for some reason. I tried many times...
anther issue which I believe to be a bug: If you open an open game on the test server there is no way to get rid of it. even abandoning it does not work. I see a problem there as any idiot can open an infinite amount of games and then piss off and leave us with the mess if you know what I mean.
Also, anyone can use the remove button (I think) I just went into a game for 2 players, removed the open slot, then the game disappeared. I assume the host was then stuck alone in his own game ![]()
Here's something, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or intentional:
I bought a 3 day pro pass on the test server and I can't access a bunch of the maps when starting a new game. None of the maps with sea and air bases are available to me. "Fortress" is also unavailable.
warmech, that's the same for all of us and the devs know. they said something like that they wouldn't have them available for the test, which if we're lucky, it will be over in a day and the patch will have been rolled out to the official real server. ![]()
