Yet another Greasemonkey script. This one lets you perform most of the "second click" commands for your units with your keyboard. Cancel, Repair, Attack, Stay, and Undo are the commands, and the key is the first letter of each. Capture is the only one I know I left out, but it's just another click on the same hex (like Attack and Stay) and it sounded like most people wanted to avoid accidental captures. Pistos helped me find quite a few bugs, so everyone be sure to thank him for that. I'm responsible for actually fixing them, so tell me if I missed something. After you install it, you'll notice a small colored square in the top left corner of the map area. If it's red, it's waiting for you to click the map. If it's green, it's ready for a key press. Note: It's currently red after building a unit, so for now, just click the map to make it green again.

frig, i gotta reinstall firefox.
I've been using it for a few turns now. Works well. Thanks, straind. ![]()
Of course anyone downloading any of my scripts agrees to the terms and conditions included in the shrink-wrap license. Some notable conditions are taking it easy on me in a game where you are wiping me out, and surrendering when I say, "Uncle."
hmmm, i see an easy game in straind's future...![]()
That's why you kept saying 'Uncle! Uncle! Uncle!' toward the end of that game?
On large maps (such as Lakes), the hidden text handler forces the screen to scroll to the top at every click. Not so good. ![]()
I'll file that under "Known Issues". I'm looking for a solution when I'm not doing other things. Actually, I've got an idea that I'll test out.
i was also getting a popup dialog notifying me that it was my turn. kind of unnecessary. but nice script though.
Pluto: I changed the default to not have the alert. Download it again to fix it.
Pistos: I'm pretty close to fixing the scrolling issue, but I need to sleep. I'll update here when it's fixed. Until then, play shorter maps.![]()
I've updated the script (as of 2007/11/03 15:15:00 UCT) to fix the scrolling issue on big maps. While this script pretty much does everything I want, there may be more updates. I'd like to get rid of the blinking cursor and make the shortcuts more easily changeable. I'll probably fix any bugs too, so let me know when you find one.
I just downloaded and installed it, I still get the Its your turn message. A bit annoying.
I cant test much more is it seems to be my turn nowhere![]()
I must say that I do like all those greasemonkey skripts that keep popping up here though.
btw: why are all those numerous scripts not on the Weewar tools page?
Streen: straind fixed that in the latest version, IINM. Regardless, in the GreaseMonkey manager, select the script, then click the Edit button. Search for "alert" and deleted the alert line.
Hey Streen, good idea... I just made lots of additions to the wiki tools page. Pistos and straind, I added your greasemonkey scripts on there too... but you can delete them if you don't want them up there.
Now I'll have to change my game name to avoid my adoring fans.
They will be on the tools page once the heavy development dust on them settles a bit![]()
thanks pistos, that worked.
these scripts dont look that complicated to me, I might work on some of my own![]()
Its javascript right? Its been a few years since I touched js, but if I get bored at some point....
I actually found a funny bug using this tool of yours. You can actually use it to repair undamaged units. Wont increase the count to more than 10, but it makes for the units move being used up.
I dont see how this would be a problem, but thaught I should point it out. Its cool to scare an opponent into beleiving you did stuff with your entire army, as its really just sitting there![]()
