How would you proceed?  This is a 3 day limit game.  Yesterday he was approaching 4 days and I had noticed he had just logged in about 11 hours previous.  I wrote in the game chat to see what is up?  Today, now approaching 5 days, I see he was just logged in about 5.5 hours ago, did not take his turn or say anything in chat.  Do I wait forever?  What are everyones thoughts?  Thanks.

Yes I am in WWPA.  I'm not chomping at the bit to boot the guy, just seems strange that he appears to log in regularly and has other games going, but is avoiding playing this one (maybe other games too, but most people boot first chance they get).

Those games you've been waiting 2 weeks on, have they been logging in regularly too?


 

no, it seems like they've left weewar for a long break only hopefully.  it's a shame to lose people.  personally, this is one game that i'm planning on sticking with.  i've started others over the past couple years and they've all gone by the wayside.

if he has been logging in I'm guessing he does not want to play anymore. I kick him out. You did the right thing by posting a message in the chat and he did not answer.

iPharted: If you messaged him in the game chat, and he hasn't responded for 24 hours, I think you're well within your rights to boot him if he doesn't say anything.  You wouldn't get greylisted.

I don't know if you want to bother, but you could also try to use the API to list what games he's playing, and see if he took turns recently in those games.

yeah, if you have weewar spy, you can see what other games he's playing and see if he's been making moves there. since you gave him fair notice, i think it's time to boot.

I have weewar spy, but it rarely works and when it does it seems totally random.  Is there an update or something that I am missing?  I'd be curious to see what his activity level is in other games.  Thanks.

yeah you are probably using an old version.  i put out an new version after the last round of weewar updates which had kinda messed it up
