    I haven't seen this put forward as an idea or feature, so thought I would toss it out.

    I would love to be able to remove the base ownership (for lack of better phrasing) by attacking the base itself. Basically, I may not be able to capture the base myself, but by using artillery or any other unit, I could attack the base and take it away from the person who captured it - turn it gray again so nobody has possession. That way nobody has the benefit of the credits from the base.

    I have sat on an enemy base way too many times without having the ability to capture it, all the while knowing they were receiving credits despite me essentially controlling it.

    has been brought before as a new infantry unit called "Engineer". I believe.

    I dont think this is necessary. I like the ability to block someones base by just parking on it. The fact that you need an infantry to take a base away from someone is part of the game and strategies need to consider this.

    nad btw. for the opponent, its almost more depressing if he controls the base, gets the cash from it, but cant actually use it at all:) Then he spends lot of effort getting it freed again, which makes him predictable. I like it as it is.

    I think leave it as is - you have to think a little in advance and send up a couple of infantry units after your main assault (or assault with infantry ;))

    I'd like to have the revenue form a base reduced when it's squatted on.
