I think the server tweaks need more tweaking (i.e. your earlier tweaks today seem to cause some problems) - I signed on through weewar.com/login and clicked on a game waiting for me in my headquarters, but I wasn't signed into the game so I had to sign in again... Is anyone else having the same annoyance?

The game is on battleground3.

It would really be a pain if I had to sign in 4 times to play all my waiting games, which is in the worst case scenario that my waiting games are all on different servers, which isn't uncommon.

Another problem is with the HQ API, it's returning things like this for the game links:  http://weewar.comhttp://battleground2.weewar.com/game/67185

This may be unrelated, but http://weewar.com/api1/users/all is broken also.

I having the exact same problems spadequack - both of your posts. Very frustrating to have to log in multiple times.

Email notices are returning the same as reported by Winter.

For some reason, related or unrelated to this specific issue, Weewar crashes Safari when loading the headquarters page after I sign on (also on Mac OS X 10.3.9)

This login issue is really strange. I am somehow not able to recreate the situation in which it happens.

I'm using FF 2.0.0.13 in Windows Vista, XP Pro and XP Media Center. Seems to happen the most for me when I access my game from the email notice, login and then try to play. I get the logged out notice every time that way. I haven't been paying attention to which battlefield server I'm on, but I'll give that a look next.

bert, try going to weewar.com, battleground1.weewar.com, battleground2.weewar.com, etc. and logout of all of those, and then login to weewar.com/login and click games in your headquarters that are not hosted on weewar.com (since you are signed into weewar.com). When I do this, for each game on a server I'm not signed into yet, it says "You are not logged in." and the top has the navigation stuff that implies that I am not logged in (only Our blog, Sign up, Login)

I've had intermittent problems. Almost always when clicking to another of my games. I can play back and forth with a person on2 different maps and not have a problem. But if I jump between games where it hasn't been my turn in a while or maybe I wasn't a recent person to view it, then it appears to trigger the log out.

That's probably because your session in each server times out after a while.

As you saw on the chat, I'm having the same problem...I have to login on each game I have on my HQ after first logging in on Weewar. I'm using Windows Vista Home Basic with Internet Explorer

my games run on battleground 2 and 3. I haven't seen the login screen for quite a while, not at all today. And I have been VERY active weewarwise today

Please verify if you have the cookie "WeewarChocolateCookie" from the  host ".weewar.com" (note the leading dot) when you should be logged in. Weewar checks this cookie to decide wether you are logged in or not.

I do have that cookie, but I am still not automatically logged into any of the battleground*.weewar.com servers, just weewar.com

After I logged into battleground3.weewar.com, the cookie refreshed / was replaced by a newer one - I know because the expiration time is 2 minutes later than the previous one.

It seems to be replaced/renewed at every refresh also, which is good

for additional info for the devs, i, just like streen, have had no problems with this.

I cleared all private data in Firefox - this time on Mac OS X - including cookies and cache, and tried again, but still no success. I logged onto weewar.com/login, clicked a game on battleground3, and was not signed in there.

Strange ... did you alter the security setttings? ... I'm really curious to figure out what causes you to get logged out.

Security settings? As far as I know, the Firefox I'm on right now has default security settings, except that I changed it to not auto-remember my password.

my past sequence of moves after clearing all personal info were: go to weewar.com, click login, log in, click my first game which is on bg3, see that i'm not logged in there, click the map which gives me a "popup" saying "you are not logged in, maybe your session expired?", am redirected to bg3.weewar.com/login, hit back a couple times to get back to my headquarters, click community, note that i'm not logged in, click discussions to get here (same tab). i have not been back to weewar.com since then

I checked and could not find the mentioned cookie. Am I doing something wrong?

I even reduced the security level to allow all cookies to be installed, but it didn't work either.

I have games on battlefield 2 and 3.

I and TheTAZ have both been experiencing the same problem. Its still happening as of 8PM EDT US. Not sure which servers

the games are on (wasnt paying attention). Happened on two different machines both running firefox.

just checked - my games (dont know about thetaz) are on bground 2 and 3. switching causes the disconnect just as the other users. the chocolatecookie is set and current.

Try clearing your cache. I think we cached whole pages for the last week (which was not intended).

All of you ... please try again and clear your browser caches and delete cookies.

Still no good - I cleared all my weewar cookies and my cache, but when I sign into weewar.com and go to my first game, which is on battleground3, it still says i am not logged in.

Bert, I clear all my privacy settings every time I close Firefox (excluding saved passwords). During a session, I bounce between battleground 1 and 3. I currently only have cookies from weewar.com and battleground1.weewar.com:

I just wanted to note that sessions no longer time out after the usual 15 minute timeout period. I don't know if this was intentional, but after closing the weewar tab and then returning to weewar several hours later without having closed firefox, I was still signed in.
