When you accidently click for the second time on a unit capable of capturing when it is on a base, it automatically captures. There is no undo function for this. Is it possible to either make an undo-function, OR let the unit automatically STAY in the base after the second click (which IS undo-able I guess, since all units that end their turn after a move can undo that).

It's been mentioned before that making that undo-able is on the far back burner, but I like your idea of making the default a "Stay" command even better and possibly an easier fix. Beside a possible mistaken double click, a lagging server can also jump up and bite you in the ass with this too.

Please make stay the default instead of capture. I second, third and fourth this nomination.

Better to have an undo for capture, but +1 for making the default stay instead of capture.

indeed, I prefer undo than default stay. Think about it, what happens more often? You capturing a base, or you just wanting to sit on a base thats not yours?

I concur. Better to be safe than sorry. If you stay but meant to capture, you can undo and fix that, but if you capture but meant to stay, you're screwed.

I'll vote for either option since the end effect is to not mistakenly take the base out of sheer click-habit.

Its not just klicking mind you. If I have to move my mouse to the top of the screen everytime I want to do a capture, I am gonna be annoyed. Call me lazy, but I wanna keep my mouse-move-milage low

Which is why a capture undo is better than default stay.

So far we have seen this like Streen: Having to go all the way to the top of the screen for every capture is annoying. Capturing by accident is equally bad. So we want to leave the default behaviour as is but make capturing un-doable asap.

Yes, finally! I've been foiled time and again, often because I thought the first click hand't registered due to processing delays. Thank you!

was this taken care of in the recent patch?  haven't tried it because i don't want to semi-accidentally capture a base.  please let us know. tx!
