Please put the hovercraft back the way they were. Hovercraft aren't modern day centaurs.

I thought it was a kitty cat when I first saw it.

i'd like to see zoomed in detailed views of all the units, especially this one, so i can see what really is supposed to be depicted.

Kinda looks like a monkey. Took some staring to imagine it being the top half of a hover-person wearing a snazzy spaceship helmet with the person's arms forward and hands grasping hover-control devices that the hover-person activates by pressing the buttons on top of the devices with their thumbs. And in the back is space for another hover-person or storage, and a windshield? I'm imagining bumper cars now and am having a hard time seeing how this thing can deal any damage =P

Interesting change though. Will take some time to get used to.

They are clearly little monkeys. dont look like centaurs or kittys.
Either way, takes getting used to but does not change the game. However I probably will never again refer to them as Hovercrafts, but rather Monkeycrafts. MC for short.

My friend said they looked like turkeys. Looking at them again I have to agree. I also got these unsolicited comments from my sisters:

• Now, if only they could fix the light artilley...I have trouble picking them because they looks so stupid.

• I won't even tell you why I pick them because of what they remind me of.

yeah i hate the new hover image... when i first saw it i thought someone had co-opted the server code or something as a joke...

I agree, the monkey men look very out of place. I like the normal hovies - I hope we get them back.

yes, please resurrect the good old hovercraft that actually looked like it dealt in death.

I my first reaction was to think a monkey was riding on it.  The old hover looked more like a hover...

LOL -- I bet the developers never imagined a public outcry like this when they made the little change. 

I think they did this because Hovercraft can capture bases -- so now you can see how they do it ... the monkey gets out and starts capturing.

I really want the devs to make that into an animation!

noffie, i think you're the first person to spell that out (and humorously, i might add).  in other words, now all three units that can capture, have heads/infantry visible.  so if they ever go with my idea of making helicopters capturable, then we're gonna have some decapitations...

Heres my pitch for an alternative Icon Set again. Keep the figure based ones, but add the option to allow the more traditional symbols for wargaming. Just a square icon with X, O and their various combinations, and the movement and strength in little numbers at the bottom. Just like the days when us old timers played on board games, lol

Okay, I'm really going to date myself here but this talk of them being monkeys now has me thinking of hovercraft as being a graphic of Mitch taking control of Supercar and zooming around the countryside.

I realize 99% of you will have no idea what I'm referring to, but the 1% that does will get a smirk out of that mental image.

Seeing how this thread has died down but that ugly hover craft image is still there I am hoping to call for a vote or at least get a petition signed to restore the original hovercraft image.  Monkeycrafts are just bizarre to look at and I can easily assume that there is a guy inside that can get out to capture.  If the image needs modified again then at least make the fan as big as the guy, I can't see how that thing would move at all 

Personally, I don't have a big issue with the new image, so I don't care either way, but perhaps one adjustment that could be made is to make his hat the same as the infantry hats.

Berzerker is so tall. troopers should be able to sneak under it for a suicidal attack for 1 damage.

Troopers have like a com pack sticking out the back... unnessary.

Heavy troopers are fat = ok. Troopers and fat = not ok.
