Is there a way to be able to setup a game so that only players of certain rankings can join that game.

When I setup games, i usually ask that only players of certain rankings join, but I've found this request is most of the time ignored.

It's not that I have a problem with lower ranked players, it is just that it would do my ranking no good to play them.

In the game creation is there a way for the devs to make a way so that only players of certain rankings can join?

 

No.

What you can do, i think, is to not start the game and whenever a lower rank enters, you remove him again. repeat until all the players are within parameters.

seems like ALOT of work and offending ALOT of people.

well, if you announce it in the title, nobody "should" be annoyed.

I have seen it done this way without the kicking, but the host would not start the game until the <1600s left the game by themselves.

but yeah, its not a real convenient solution. I am just saying, its possible. whats the alternative? abandonning? that sucks too

true. but there's no more waiting room anymore... what happened to that? the game starts instantly for me when I push start game (in game creation)   

This does not work I'm finding. As soon as one player abandons, it removes the game from the Open Games area. What did happen to the waiting area. The devs need to fix this really quick because this is VERY annoying.
