I only know your typical coffee shop or cafe way to drink, "skinny flat white please", large or small.... hmmm, too much info.
Capuccino, love it but it dont love me, for the best taste I think full milk, I like skimmed. Instant... yep I know, sacrilage, but its quick.... How many different ways are there.... just thinking about it there are so many to experience in so many exotic places, with additions, liquers, sweetners, double shots etc etc .... its an f...ing culture man!
I'm enjoying a latte from my fav cafe right now!
Am doin the same... but not in cafe.... having an instant but thinking of Melbourne trip.
Ah Melbourne.... I had one of the best mochas at Koko Black. I think it was on Lygon St
I was on the river down below the Conference Centre, where all the cafes are and a community type Centre.... it was Spring last year and it was packed, but I found a place near the grass. New town, new people, lots of space.... new sights, and an amazing coffee takeaway. As you enter the food court from the Conference Centre end there is a tiny coffee shop..... "though it be tiny, it does great things!!" If you get the chance it is worth it.
Where is this Conference Centre?
Its in the South bank complex, its a food court, just between the Yarra River and the National Gallery Of Victoria. All along there are great little coffee haunts. Then you continue along the bridge to the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), just before the main Station (Flicers Street Stations and on the right side is all the galleries and alot of cafe's.... very cool, and on the left is alot of little takeaway areas and shops..... I was there for 5 days and had the time of my life.
This is what coffee does for me, its not just about the drink its whats associated with it... so much. Hope you're having a good day in Sydders. Weather great down here, this is IDEAL coffee weather... well outside on a little table with a shade and no work!!!
Cheers
Ah! I'm planning a trip to Melb next year. Will definitely have to hit the Conference Centre then! Thanks for the tip!
And yeah, it is ideal coffee weather. If I didn't have to be in the office, I'd be at Coogee sipping a latte and reading![]()
